'Why Hello there! :D A Wally Darling x OC fanfic!

★Chapter 2: Grocery time!★

Kaylie's POV:

As I felt the gentle heat of the fresh sunlight between my eyes, I arose from bed and stretched my arms. I then looked at the window to see that Wally was outside approaching a store called 'Howdy's Place'. With that, I got out of bed and thought that it was finally time to go grocery shopping.

I prepared my satchel and my bow and finally exited my home after 1 hour of getting ready for the day. I also had a gift for Howdy because he helped me with my roof yesterday.

While walking on the yellow brick road in front of Wally's house, I couldn't help but notice that on the circular windows of his house, there were oval-shaped pupils that looked frantically around the neighborhood.

Now, I was too nice to be freaked out so I smiled and waved at it before I walked away. It gave a small creak when I did.

As I made my way to the store that said 'Howdy's place, I opened the door and the bell above me chimed when I entered.

Only two people were present there, It was Wally, and Howdy. Wally was buying some apples. Specifically 10 of them.

As I made my way to the counter, I put a small green box on the counter as I said "For you! Consider this as a thank you because you helped me with my roof yesterday!" I said, cheerfully. Howdy smiled at me as thanked me too.

After giving him the gift, I entered the first aisle I could find, and that was the aisle where there were baking supplies. I smiled at the sight and started taking 2 pancake formula boxes and putting them in the basket that I got from the side of the counter I put the gift box in. I did the same with a tray of eggs, fruits etc... etc.. etc.. I have a lot of money because I come from a rich family. Just in case you were wondering.

Howdy's POV:

Wally told me the velvet haired girl's name was Kaylie Kindness so... When 'Kaylie' gave me the box, I thanked her and opened it. Inside was a basket of green colored food. Like cupcakes, macarons and green grapes.

I smiled at the sight and glanced at Kaylie who was buying a lot of stuff. I turned to Wally who had 10 apple on the counter waiting for them to be bought. I chuckled akwardly and said "O-oh! Heh! Sorry there, bud! I forgot you were buying something! Haha! Sorry, pal!" I said as I apologized to him while patting him on the back.

"It's okay, Howdy! Besides, I was planning to steal- I mean buy these! Yeah!" Wally answered nervously as I looked at him with a suspicious look.

"Mmmhhmmm...." I said suspiciously as I looked at him with a suspicious look again as I quickly scanned his items and looked at him with a cheery face after. "That'll be 5 bucks buddy, pay up." I said as I looked at him with a cheery but sincere face.

"Here!" He said as he put his 5 bucks on the counter and took his apples to leave.

Kaylie's POV:

I made my way to the counter as I put down the heavy basket and let Howdy scan the items I wanted to purchase.

"Whoah, ya rich or something?" Howdy said, impressed by how many Items I bought from him. A simple nod is given by me.

"Well, that'll be 30 bucks, 'Kaylie'." He said as he left me frozen there for a few seconds.

'Wait.. HOW DID HE KNOW MY NAME?!' Those words shouted in my mind as he notices that I froze all of a sudden.

I snapped back to reality as I asked him politely.

"I'm sorry, but how do you know my name when I haven't introduced myself yet..?" I said, nervously.

He replied with "Oh! Sorry.. It's just that.. Wally told me your name so I know what to call you the next time we meet! Terribly sorry.." He said as he pouted slightly, scanning my items.

"N-no! It's fine.. It's just that I get  surprised when I hear my name from someone I haven't introduced myself to.. haha.." I laughed softly and nervously as I opened my satchel to pull out 30 bucks.

After he scanned my items, I happily gave him my 30 bucks and I left the shop with my bought items after I said goodbye to Howdy.
