{"Everything in the end is so futile. Because I know that you'll end up in my arms, safe n' sound."}

<---------------------->

    You sweat dropped and walked over to one of the poles. Seeing that someone was posting something on one of them. That someone just happened to be a police officer.

 And that made you nervous.

    In the original timeline without you in it, it was Patrick who had gone missing. So who would have gone missing this time?

    You crept towards the pole with a furrowed and fixed gaze as the police officer walked away. Your eyes widened in surprise. 'That hairstyle. That amount of make up... Could that be Gretta?'

Thinking to yourself but then shook your head. 'No. It's probably one of her brainless goons.' You thought, easing yourself momentarily.

    "Y/n!" And just as you easily were dragged into a mindless thought process. Someone pulled you out of it. "You comin' in?" Stan asked. You nodded. "Yeah. Just gimme a sec." You said and looked down at your feet.

     Quickly pondering to yourself silently as you stalked into Ben's house quietly. Looking at all the cute little knick knacks all around.

    Ben rushed upstairs to his room much quicker than the rest of the Losers Club. You smiled at his dorkiness. It was cute. Looking around his house, you found that it was quite similar to yours. But more photogenic.

   After a while of snooping, you thought it would be good to join the rest of the Losers Club upstairs while they looked at Ben's stuff. "Cool, huh?" Ben asked. Richie shook his head. "No, no, nothing cool!"

    Bill sighed and he raised an old photograph (if you could even call it that) up to the window and let the light shine on it, to reveal a map of old Derry. Ben looked over to you with smile on his face, as you looked at all the old posters of Derry.

    All the while Richie kept muttering about how nothing in his room wasn't cool. "What's that?" Stan asked while pointing at something on the wall, where everyone else was facing. "Oh that? That's the charter for Derry's township."

     Richie scoffed with a smirk while adjusting his glasses. "Nerd alert." You continued to look at all the missing kid posters as well as a couple of other stuff in awe. "No, no. It's actually pretty interesting. Derry started as a beaver trapping camp."

   You scoffed with a smile. Provoking Richie. "Still is am I right boys?" He asked with a hand raised, preparing for any high fives. No high fives were given to the ravenette.

    They only side-eyed him and shook their heads. You being one of them. "Ninety one people signed the charter that made Derry. But, later that winter, they all disappeared without a trace."

    Eddie rose an eyebrow. "The entire camp?" Bill frowned and looked over to you as you walked quickly over to the rest of the group in disarray. Now fully alarmed. "There were rumors of Indians. But no sign of an attack."

    Ben continued. "Everyone thought it was a plague or something." While your eyes stalked to a certain picture. A certain picture with people looking and acting all about and seemed to be signing something.

    But there was a face among them. One that you recognized. "But...it was like... everyone just woke up and left..." He said and shrugged his shoulders. "The only clue was a trail of bloody clothes leading to the well house."

    At that moment, you felt a shiver crawl up your spine. Richie seemed to be feeling the exact same thing. "Jesus." Beverly walked towards the door, apparently seeing something and silently closing the door.

     Revealing a 'New Kids On the Block.' Poster. You snickered a little. Leaving Ben bright eyed and red in the face. Ben just shook his head at Beverly while you stood next to him. Beverly smirked and continued to look at the rest of his stuff.

     Stanley proposed a question to the two other boys, Eddie and Richie. "What's up with this guy?" Richie shrugged his shoulders. "I don't know. Maybe he's just trying to make some friends, Stanley."

    Bill interrupted him. "W-where was the well house?" Ben only shrugged his shoulders. "....I don't know. Somewhere in town I guess. Why?" There was a long pause.

------------

     You sighed to yourself as you walked home. Beverly walking by your side. "So.... Where do you live?" She asked you. "Just down that road and some." She nodded. "Uh. I actually think my stop is before yours. Would you wanna come over for a little bit?" She asked you.

     Nodding with a smile, Beverly gently took your hand and rushed off to her home. You barely being able to keep up. But after you and her passed a couple of blocks she finally stopped at what looked like a abandoned apartment building.

    Looking up unsurely seemed to alert Beverly. "Do you really live here?" You asked unsurely. She nodded hesitantly. "Yep! My dad isn't here right now. Which is a good thing." She said the last part to herself in a quiet matter.

    But even with her attempts at trying to keep that bit to herself, you still managed to over hear her pitiful attempt at secrecy. Beverly shook herself off and rushed up the stairwell leading to her apartment. You quickly following suit.

    Once you had caught up with her, Beverly unlocked the door to her apartment gleefully. Her father shouldn't be home for another couple hours. As it was a work day. She sighed. She finally had you all to herself.
