Trivia of the Story

I will keep updating this in case more questions arise. I recommend coming back this, but you absolutely don't have to. This is just a guide or tool to help yourself in case anything gets confusing.

1.) Each member has a code name, something they have called themselves to protect their true identity from Novah and the outside world. Here are the explanations:

• Bang Chan - Wolf [named after the animal and the persona he has chosen for himself in real life since the release of Wolfgang, their song about a wolf pack that resembles the band's dynamic on stage and in life (Chan as the leader of the pack, the alpha wolf); Chan's Skzoo doll is also a wolf so the animal obviously holds a lot of meaning for him]

• Minho - Ducasse [named after the chef with the most Michelin stars; Alain Ducasse is the only chef who ever sent his food to space and owns 36 restaurants across the globe; since Minho is a huge fan of cooking and culinary experimenting, I wanted to mirror that side of him in this story as well]

• Jisung - Poet [often considered the main lyricist of Skz's songs, his penmanship and writing is known to be of the highest quality; I wanted to include this as a nod to his real life persona, to keep a part of who he really is in this fictional story]

• Changbin - Os [osmium is one of the hardest metals on the planet; it has a super high melting point, and very high density; since Bin is considered the muscle man in the story I wanted him to have a name that had a connection to that; changbin is one of a kind and osmium is extremely rare, that's why i found osmium a better fit than steel or titanium which are boring and widespread] 

• Felix - Sydney [as in real life, the Felix in this story was born and raised in Sydney, Australia; I felt it important to include this as it's such an integral part of his person and character; I can only guess but I think even in a fictional story he would want to carry that part of him with him in some way; it is his home]

• Hyunjin - Monet [it is widely known that he loves art and is an avid admirer of the old masters; Hyunjin usually paints with oil and has even used instant coffee at one point and has been praised for his talents by many people, including Hugh Jackman; I believe his love for the art world would be mirrored in his code name were he to choose one in real life so I chose to name him after Claude Monet, the Impressionist painter]

• Seungmin - Mercury [in his position as main vocalist he has proven time and time again what an incredible voice he has; his voice is strong and smooth and he has the potential to be known as one of the most influential vocalists in the industry; Freddy Mercury is one of the most popular and well-known singers of all time, his work as the frontman of the band Queen remains unmatched; he is one of many that Seungmin could look up to but he has by far the coolest name]

• Jeongin - Kid [he is the youngest of the group in every world, this one and the real one; "kid" is the loving nickname given to children by their parents, older siblings, and caregivers; it was important to me to emphasize that he is the youngest and the least experienced of the group and that everyone around him wants to  take care of him one way or another]

2.) Setting - Where the heck are we?

Since this is a work of fiction, it is not set in our real world.
This story can play out in any given city, so really, you are free to choose. It could be Seoul. It could be Los Angeles. It could be London. It could be a city that doesn't exist on this plane of reality. It does not matter where this story plays out. The city is not important. The people are.

3.) Genre - What can I expect?

This is an AU - a story set in an alternative universe. Generally, that means a character of a certain story is picked out of their own story and placed into another. Even if the circumstances and the plot of their story changes, the key characteristics remain. Since I am basing my characters on real people that I do not know personally, it is impossible for me to know exactly how they would react in any story. Therefore, the only points that will virtually stay the same are the fact that they are a group, the biological factors such as age, height, etc., and things they have done or are known for from the past.

4.) Disability Representation - The character Seamstress communicates via sign language

I am a hearing person. I am not deaf and unfortunately I don't speak any sign language. However I did try to do the utmost research on both topics in order to be able to write Seamstress. She is a character who speaks sign language because she has lost her hearing. Since there are very specific sign languages for different regions of the world and this story isn't set in a specific country/city, I have decided to just use the American Sign Language as a reference for her movements. Of course I tried to write her as respectfully as possible, but if you are part of the non-hearing community or have more knowledge than me on the topic, please reach out. I would never want to spread false information or accidentally hurt anyone with my wording choices!
