Recap:
I closed my laptop and check the time, it was 2 am. I looked at Niko & Zemira. They were cuddled up asleep. I put away my laptop and gave Zemira a kiss on the forehead.

~ 2 weeks later~

Niko and I have grown closer over the past 2 weeks. Although we haven't known each other for very long, I have a strong intuition about him. Every time we hang out, my feelings for him seem to deepen. He treats both me and Zemira so good.

Nella: let's go to Niko's place, Chunkz is there
y: okay

we drove to his place and got off we walked upstairs to Niko's apartment. I was about to walk in until Nella stopped me

Nellapov:
As I open the door, I saw Soph pull Niko in for a kiss. I saw y/n walking my way and I tried to stop her but she saw them. Her face became blank and she turned around and walked downstairs

Niko pov
Niko: Soph what the hell?! why would you-
Soph: Niko, I can't help it. I still love you
Niko: we're over Soph, Get over it. I found someone else who treats me better than you did.

Nellapov

Hearing every word of their conversation, I rushed downstairs to find y/n sitting in the car. I quickly joined her.

Nella: y/n-
y: I honestly don't care.

Niko's pov:
Soph left, I turn around to see Chunkz wearing a shocked expression.

Chunkz: did Soph just kiss you?
Niko: Yeah- but I told her
Chunkz: yeah I heard you. ~ Chunkz got a text and looked at me
Chunkz: y/n saw the whole thing.
Niko: what do you mean?
Chunkz: I forgot to tell you... they were coming over. She must of saw you guys and left. I don't know
Niko: how do you know she saw it?
Chunkz: Nella texted me

I got my phone and texted y/n because I didn't want her thinking the wrong thing. These past few weeks have been amazing and I don't want one stupid kiss to ruin that for me

Nellapov:
we got home, y/n and Zemira went to the room and she shut the door.

ypov:
I was in my room and I got a text from Niko.
" Can we talk please, y/n"
"It's not what it looks like"
I left him on read.

Zemira: I want to go see auntie Nella
y: she's in the living room, go see her~ she got up and left the room leaving the door open. I laid down and Nella walked in
Nella: y/n you didn't listen to the other half
y: about what?
Nella: Nik-
y: don't care
Nella: y/n Niko-
y: No Nella stop. I figured that if I gave it a shot with him, I'd find some who adores me and Zemira as much as I adore her. These past few weeks have been incredible, I've known since the beginning Soph was going to be problem. So i'll back off and let them be happy. Now can you please leave it alone.
Nella: y/n
y: Nella, stop~ I say getting irritated
Nella: fine i'll leave it alone~ she got on her phone and I just laid there just thinking about anything besides him. Then Nella got up and said
Nella: I'll leave y'all to talk ~ I sat up and saw Niko at the door way. He walks in, close the door behind him, and sat inches away from me on the bed
Niko: before you saying anything let me talk please.
y: Niko, I don't care. it's your business not mines
Niko: Y/n please just- ~ I got up from the bed trying to leave but he grabbed my hand gently which made me turn around to face him.
y: Niko just- ~ he lets go of my hand
Niko: y/n, let me talk now shut up and listen. ~ I was surprised when he told me shut up but I did anyways. I sat on the bed with my arms crossed.
Niko: Soph kissed me. I pushed her away. I swear I didn't kiss back. Y/n, I like you so much and I liked you since the first time I saw you. I instantly connected with you. There is no feelings left for Soph. I just want you. Y/n, you and Zemira are the best thing that could ever happened to me, you and Zemira are my happy place. Zemira makes me feel like she's my daughter, and I adore her. ~ he kept talking so I cut him off by kissing him
y: I should've gave yourself a chance to explain... I'm sorry.
Niko: it's okay
y: Look, I like you Niko a lot... I want you to know that. But- If we ever get into something serious I don't want Soph and her feelings for you to get involved with us.
Niko: She won't, and i'll make sure of it. I'll do whatever it takes just to be with you ~ I couldn't help but smile.
Niko: so... can I get another kiss?
y: oh shut up and come here ~ I gave him a kiss and we both fall back on the bed where he's on top of me. ~ We heard the doorknob twist so we quickly got up

Nella: I'm sorry to interrupt... y/n ~ she hands me papers
y: Nella what's this? ~ I say flipping through the pages
Nella: Uh... Noah's Lawyer came by and handed me these papers... Noah wants full custody if Zemira.
