Marc stumbled into the apartment cut, bruised, bleeding. His clothes, hand were covered in blood and when Steven noticed he jumped off the couch and goes over to him.
"Oh god Marc... what-what happened to you?" Steven stuttered as he saw the state of Marc and helped him to a chair. "I thought Jake was meant to help you..."
"Khonshu had him do something else..." Marc groaned
"Sh-shouldn't you do to the hospital or something..?" Steven stuttered more and looks at Marc, "I don't think the human body isn't supposed to bleed this much..."
"Steven..I'm okay..there's a med kit in the cabinet under the sink.." Marc's breathing became unsteady and Steven rushed to the cabinet under the sink and grabbed the Med kit.
Steven headed straight back to Marc. Steven lifted up Marc's shirt. "Oh gods Marc..." Steven mumbled as he saw the wounds on Marc's chest.
Steven opened the med kit and started cleaning the wound and Marc hissed as the antiseptic touches his wounds. "S-sorry.."
"I-it's okay Steven.." Marc groaned as Steven bandaged him up. "Gods Marc why would khonshu make you do this alone I mean you could have died or something probably worse then death-"
Marc cut Steven off with a kiss, Steven froze for a few seconds before kissing him back and then Marc pulled away and Steven just looked at Marc in shock still from the kiss.
"Just..just stop rambling..." Marc whispered and looked at Steven. Steven looked at Marc as he stood up and Marc started walking away stumbling ever so slightly.
"Marc!" Steven went up to him and helped him steady himself.
"I'm fine Steven..." Marc groaned and Steven helped Marc to the bed.
"Just let me care for you.." Steven laid Marc down and kissed his forehead before getting in the bed next to Marc.
Marc shuffled closer to Steven and nuzzled his head into his neck. Steven wrapped his arms around him protectively and Marc nuzzles his head into Stevens neck as Steven plays with his hair.
Marc didn't really like to be taken care of but he liked it when Steven took care of he became he was gentle and Marc just thought it felt right.
