Emma's POV
I was just starting eighth grade when I realized I had feelings for Jake. I guess you could say I liked him. I just like the way he was so different from other boys. He didn't say anything about my height or how basic I was because here I am at 4'8 1/2 "and I'm not growing anymore. I guess you could say I'm short. He just acted like him self when he was around me. He wasn't trying to prove anything to me or to anyone for that matter. He was just being him self and thats what i love about him. He wasn't popular either. I guess you could say I loved him. Then one day it all I changed the day I broke up with him it all changed . I didn't even break up with him because i didn't love him. I broke up with him because I had too. It I guess that was my biggest mistake.
