Chapter 1 : The lies

3rd person (Donnie's POV)

Donnie sent the escape pods, making sure everyone got inside. As he was about to get in his, Leo hopped out running to grab the key last minute, leaving his escape pod to leave without him. Donnie watched in horror as Leo ran up, grabbing the key then getting slapped across the building to the ground. A giant Kraang spear was aiming straight for him, Donnie grabbed him rolling him and Leo out of the way. "Donnie...!?" Leo muttered, Donnie held his neck, the spear pricked him, only a tiny amount.
Donnie grabbed his escape pod and his extra he keeps on him. He sent Leo into the extra waiting for him to fly away before Kraang cornered him. "Oooo~ what have we got here, Kraang smirked wrapping his tentacle around Donnie's injury, poking it to make it sting even more. Donnie slapped the tentacle away sliding under his other tentacles and putting an escape pod on himself.

Leo's POV
As I arrived him I was chucked out, falling face flat on the floor. "Leo, where's Donnie?" Mikey said fear in his eyes, Leo looked behind him, Donnie's escape pod still wasn't arriving. He looked at the floor, key in hand, "I-I don't know, he saved me, but he might still be back there." I stood worried, I then see a small purple escape pod. I sighed in relief, Donnie was alright, I hope.

Donnie's POV
In my escape pod, I felt my neck. It stung and bled as I pushed it, but instead of the usual red blood, pink blood came out. I stared in shock, I shouldn't tell the others should I? I realised I had came to a stop, brushing the blood on my pants. I was flung out, to see everyone alright. "Oh thank Galileo you guys are alright.." I sighed, "None of you are hurt more then you were right? Like not seriously damaged." I said with checking up on everyone. "Donnie we"re fine, your not, your neck is bleeding." They said I put my hand in my neck to see the pink blood again, "SHIT! Sorry- I'll be back lemme patch this up" I sprinted off moments later, the others oblivious of the pink not red blood.

Raphs POV
As I watched Donnie sprint off, I couldn't help but notice the pink blood drop on the floor. I thought nothing of it, maybe it was some Kraang blood, I mean it sounds like Donnie to try and murder Kraang. I just brushed past it, sitting down watching the news as multiple citizens had been corrupted but the Kraang. We can't just stop here, but we need to think of a plan

Donnies POV
As I patched up my cut I noticed how yellow my eyes were. It occurred to me, I've been infected! I need to leave immediately, who knows it can spread. So I made up an quick excuse, it wasn't the best, but I needed to get out of here fast, without them worrying too much. I slowly walked out hoping they wouldn't notice me but Leo was waiting for me. "Hey are you okay now?" He asked, I turned to him, It was hard to lie to him, or Mikey, or Raph , or April, its hard to lie to anyone that is a big part of my life, but, this was too serious. "I'm fine Nardo, thanks for your worry, but I'm completely fine, though, my friend may not be, I'm going to check up on them, I'll be back okay?" I said slowly walking away, Leo chased behind me. I was by the living room by the time Leo caught up with me, "Donnie!. You can't just go alone, it's literally a the end of the world!?" By that point Leo got everyone's attention.
"Nardo, I assure you I'm fine, now, I am wasting time arguing with you, then going to help my friend!?" I screamed, it startled everyone, but Leo persisted "oh yeah? Then who's this friend? Huh?" He sassed, I was already done with this. "That's none of your business and neither is me going out either!" I stormed out of the door, into the sewer, it was already starting to have Kraang leak through, my vision went blurry, everything started to sting, but I kept walking, I must stay as far away from my family as possible I can't risk them getting infected too.

Leo's POV
I was shocked when Donnie stormed out of the lair, stared at the rest, they were all startled too. "Leo? What was that about?!" Raph question anxiously, "Donnie's going out, now, in the middle of an apocalypse.." I muttered, Raph froze in fear, he stared at me with a 'why would you let him do that?? face. I stared at the lairs entrance/exit, god I hope he's okay.
