Oh, Shut Up! (Sollux x Reader) Part 3 (End)
You breathed a sigh of relief as you were finally able to make your escape to the bathroom. You took your phone out and dialed (b/f/n)'s number.
"Hey, what's up (y/n)?" She asked, knowing it was you. You groaned and heard her snicker.
"Don't laugh at my dismay!!!" You pouted, a light blush staining your cheeks.
"I can't help it! You must really like him if you're all worked up over dinner~~~" She teased and you groaned again. How did this happen? One simple word. Failure.
~Flashback~
Sweat began beading on your forehead as the game increasingly got harder. At first it had been easy to beat him, but with each level it was getting harder and harder to beat him. Suddenly, you didn't know if you were going to win. Your (h/c) brows furrowed and your (e/c) eyes hardened with determination. You HAD to win! But a small part of you.... A VERY SMALL PART!!!! It..... It wanted to lose, just so you could go on that date with him. And soon enough, that part of you won.
You stared at the screen in disbelief while Sollux held a triumphant smirk of his own. As the realization that you had lost set in, your cheeks turned a rosy pink color and Sollux looked at you.
"Tho~ Do you want to give me that kithth now, or later~?" He asked in pure amusement and you pouted.
"T-That wasn't fair! Y-You cheated! I just know you did!" You accused, your blush worsening with the question. He grinned.
"Nope, I won, fair and thquare! I'm only an exthpert in coding and hacking, remember~?" he asked, teasing you. You growled and he got up.
"I'll thee you in a bit." he said and you looked up in confusion.
"Wait, what?" You aked and he looked down at you with an eyebrow raised and he looked like he was about to laugh.
"We're going on a date remember? You might want to get ready~ Wear thomething nithe~" He explained, obviously happy. Your blush deepened.
"Oh... Okay...." You trailed off and he chuckled before leaving. You buried your head in your hands, raking your (h/c) hair back. 'What's going to happen?' You inquired mentally. You were so nervous and you had a right to be. This event would serve to be your first date and also your first kiss.
~End of Timeskip~
You looked into the mirror with a blush. You had on a beautiful outfit and you looked gorgeous. It was a pink, flowing skirt with a black, long-sleeved, lacy top. With it, you wore polka-dotted leggings and some pink heels.
( pink-chloe-bag-black-global-ci ) Sollux was waiting for you and was shocked at first, but ended up smiling when he saw what you were wearing. It was a real smile. There was no trace of amusement, or smugness. He looked genuinely pleased and happy. You would have been lying if you had said you weren't a bit happy too. You drew in a deep breath and said your goodbye to (b/f/n), making your way back out to Sollux. You had both already eaten, but you had wanted to tell (y/n) how it went. The entire thing had gone better than you had expected. You had been expecting him to be very full-of-himself and overly-confident. But he wasn't. He was actually very sweet to you.
You realized that he had his passions and was competetive, just like you. He had a passion for hacking and coding, while you had an obsession for manga and anime. You both wanted to be the best at what you thought you were good at. You admired that about him and even about yourself. You were both determined in what you were actually interested in. Nothing else mattered. You blushed when he smiled at you. You were both standing outside of the restaurant, a bit awkwardly, since you both didn't really want to go back home, but you also didn't know what to do.
"Hey... Uh.... Do you want to.... Take a walk?" He asked awkwardly, rubbing his neck in nervousness and looking off to the side. You smiled warmly and took his hand into your own.
"Sure." You answered, and he grinned in relief, entwining his fingers with yours. You blushed and smiled as he led you off to the park. It was weird. You honestly liked him, even though you had met him just the previous day. It was so unnatural, and yet it was just all too natural at the same time. You sighed in happiness as you were being led, enjoying the warmth Sollux's fingers supplied you with. You had never felt that before. You liked it. There were so many firsts, and all of them were happening in one night. Your first date, your first time holding hands, and in just a few minutes, your first kiss.
It wasn't that you you didn't like guys or have any interest in dating, it was just that guys weren't really interested in you and only viewed you as a great friend. Plus, you were too busy being an otaku to really care about real-life relationships. You had let your mind wander and before you had known it, Sollux had been able to lead you over to a tree in a nearby park. You looked up and saw beautiful stars through the branches in the tree. You could feel Sollux staring at you and you blushed, looking at him some-what defensively.
"W-What?" You asked him and he smiled, which took you a bit by surprise. Your lips parted a bit an your eyes widened. His eyes flickered down to your lips and your still-entwined hands and he suddenly smirked.
"Hath anyone ever told you how intoxthicatingly beautiful you are?" He asked and you blushed so darkly that you could have been compared to a tomato. You shook your head lightly, not being able to speak. He leaned towards you, his eyes a bit lidded. You blushed, but found yourself doing the same. He hesitated just before your lips met his two whisper four very sweet words into your ear.
"Well, now someone hath." He whispered, and his soft lips met yours. You blushed and your (e/c) eyes fluttered closed. It was a very strange and beautiful kiss all at the same time. You had never experienced anything like it, which is why it was a bit strange, but the feeling of his lips on yours felt amazing. It was so amazingly soft and gentle, and for some reason you felt as if you had known Sollux all of your life. You didn't ever want it to end. His lips were warm, and his hand rose to cup your cheek. When you finally had to break apart for air, he looked at you and smiled a bit and you did the same, blushing and looking down. He grabbed your hand and began leading you home. It was perfect.
Until......
"Tho, wanna make another deal~?" He asked, breaking the silence. You rolled your eyes.
"Oh, shut up!" You retorted, grinning.
You would eventually come to love being with Sollux more than anyone else, and the same went for your best friend, (b/f/n), and John. Your days were filled with petty deals and loving dates. Over-all, your life had become chaotic happiness, and you and Sollux would live beautifully together for the rest of forever.
