Cheyenne stood by the door shocked. Philip immediately hid his face. "What the actual f*ck right now." Cheyenne uttered still in shock.

"Cheyenne, let me explain." I approached her and tried to hold her hand. She immediately flicked my hand off hers.

"No! No, I will not let you explain you cheating on me with-" She looked at Philip. She left.

"Ugh!" I followed her into the hallway. "Cheyenne, please." I held her hand before she could run away. "I just want to explain everything to you. I'm not going to give you some lie and say this is a misunderstanding. I really want to clear things up with you." She sighed.

She flicked my hand off hers again. "Fine. I'll let you explain since you're so persistent."

I sighed. "Thank you."

"But not now. I need some time to get what I just saw out of my mind. I'll text you." She left. Thank you, Cheyenne. You were always sweet and gave people chances even though I clearly don't deserve it.

I went back into my apartment. Philip was in the bedroom looking anxious. I went and sat next to him. "W-what did she say?"

"First, I'm sorry I left you. Cheyenne just saw us and I left you alone to go chase after her. That must've made you think a lot. I'm sorry." I pulled him into an embrace. "She said she'll let me explain." I let him go.

"Okay." He still looks nervous. "Is she going to tell people about us?"

"No. I don't think you have to worry about that."

"But she saw us. She saw my face."

"Don't worry. Cheyenne is not the type to out anyone without their permission. She really won't do that." I put my hand on his shoulder to calm him down.

He faced me, his eyes are filled with fear. "She really won't?" I nodded. "Okay."

We spent the rest of the afternoon trying to calm our nerves by watching random stuff on TV. I got a text from Cheyenne around 6pm. She said to meet at Starbucks in thirty minutes.

When the time came I left the apartment and went to the agreed upon location. I found her with her ice americano. I sat in the chair in front of her.

"Hi." I greeted as I sat down. She just lifted her head up. "Thank you for letting me explain."

"I don't have much time so if you could-"

"Right. I understand so I'll make it quick." I explained everything about how Philip is the first guy to make me question my sexuality and stuff, and that cheating was never part of my plan. I had already planned on explaining everything to her before she left but the thing with her father came so sudden and I didn't want to add more things for her to worry about. But the most important thing is that I'm sorry for breaking her trust again and cheating.

"It's fine. I understand. You were just discovering yourself."

"No, you shouldn't just accept it. The fact that I cheated on you is still true. I did something wrong and you're allowed to be angry at me."

"Felix, it's fine. I still am mad that you cheated on me so I'd rather we keep our distances." She got up.

"I understand." She left. I decided to walk from Starbucks back to my apartment. It helped to clear my mind. I guess her finding out helped me clear things with her. I still feel bad about cheating but I'm glad the hardest part is over. Now, only the second hardest thing is left which is coming clean to our friends.
