It was weird.
Being surrounded by skeletons I mean.
For the most part it was cool when I really thought about it, but back home where I'm from, skeletons weren't sentient.
Atleast that I know of.
They were always rather hostile creatures, so no one knows if they actually can be passive in different settings.
I mean, they were always looking to pick a fight with any wandering trader or villager.
In actuality we had the right to assume.
Shooting arrows at literally any giving moment, they are tough fighters as far as I know. Even worse if they had magic at their disposal; though those were rarer cases.
They weren't identified as monsters by public officials, more so, the reason why non-sentient creatures were either know as mobs to the locals or free EXP to the rare adventurer who passed by.
Which begs the question if they are the result of amatuer necromancy or pure free will of the soul.
Whereas they come to, and stay 'alive' with the help of magic or they happen to live even after death, if we are to assume that had some sort of life before......
Hm, maybe I should research this all later.
I hum softly under muttered breaths.
I really need to make a list of things I've to do once I get back.
Speaking of which I wonder if these guys have a leader. Is it a necromancer.
It was getting uncomfortable laying here with so many gashes and burns under all this armour and clothes.
I'm pretty sure the freezing air on my back wasn't doing much for the wounds either.
I'm definently going to need armour.
And there was just nothing to do.
Blue was the only skeleton left in the room opting to stay by my side and keep me company for a while.
Seems like a lousy ways of saying I need to be kept an eye on, but in all cases put aside, I'll gladly take the company though.
After all this place seems so cool and I'll be needing someone to rant and ask my questions to soon, so....
I observed the device Blue was holding in his palm.
It looked like a screen of some sort but stuck in a smaller window than I'm used to and seems more techie than magic like though.
It even had these cute little star shaped items connected to a chain thingie, that attaches to the phone!
It kinda does share similarities identical to that thing Napstabot uses on his arm.
I wonder if I could get one. Preferably in a dimmer color? Wait do they come in different colours?
Is it multi purpose. Can I play with it?
