I love this one tbh.

You've been in a terrible mood all morning. Your friend that slept over can vouch for that.

"So how are you and sexy Shawn?" Your friend asks trying to lighten up the mood.

"We're good. Still best friends. Like we will ALWAYS be." You assure her.

"I don't believe yoooouuuu." She sings while getting ready for school.

You let out a big 'pft' and glare at her. People are always thinking you and Shawn have a thing for each other. Like no way! You've been best friends since diapers. You've taken baths together as children. How weird would that be?!

~~~ WEIGHT ROOM ~~~
(Only Shawn and Matt)

"So how are you and (Y/N)" Matt asks wriggling his eyebrows.

Shawn looks at him, rolls his eyes and continues to bench waits "We're good. She's my best friend still. It will always be that way." He smiles.

"Just friends. Alright then. So you wouldn't mind if I asked her out?" Matt asks slyly spotting him.

"What?!? No!" the bar comes down on SHAWNS stomach ad he lets out a big huff. "I mean... Yeah bro. Go for it. Just don't hurt her. Cause you know. She's my best friend." He said sitting up 'coolly'.

Shawn felt very confused on why he felt the way he did. Matt was a nice guy and (Y/N) was his best friend. It'd all be cool. Right?

"I was kidding dude. You look like your about to blow. You so like her." Matt laughed.

Shawn glared and simply refused. "Do not!"

(Back to your p.o.v.)

"Hey (Y/N)!" Shawn says kissing your cheek and ruffling your hair. He takes a seat right next to you at the lunch table.

"Hey." You mood from earlier instantly brightens.

You look at him only to notice he's staring at something. You follow his direction of viewing.

"Hey You!" He yells at a very nervous new girl trying to find somewhere to sit. What is he doing? If she comes over here...Shawn must be interested. And then they'll start talking and he'll never have time for you. Or even worse...replace you as his best friend!

Woah. Way dramatic (Y/N).

She shyly comes and sits across from you guys.

"Hi I'm Shawn and this is (Y/N)." He introduces you both. "Hi. I'm Kat. Thanks for letting me sit with you guys." You smile politely.

Matt and Your best friend sit down at the table as well. "Hey guys, who's the babe?" Your friend asks. "Yeah who's this?" Matt copies. "I'm Kat." She answers a little more confidently. "Matt." "(Y/F/N)" they introduce themselves.

All the sudden you started to think about something Shawn did along time ago. It was hilarious and very embarrassing to him. You just randomly bursted out laughing. Everyone looks at you and raises their eyebrows.

"What are you laughing about?" Shawn asks chuckling a little.

"Hey Shawn, remember that time we were at Johnsons house and-"

"NO. NO I DONT." He already knew what was coming.

"His grandparents were over-"

"I DONT KNOW WHAT YOU'RE TALKING ABOUT (Y/N)."

"And you-" you were giggling too much to continue. "I mean your cheeks were- giggle- as red as a tomato." You said wiping your tears.

"Ew (Y/N) you know I hate that saying." He squirms while you pinch his cheeks. "Oh I'm sorry Shawny doesn't like tomatoes." You say teasingly. He grabs your hands so you don't pinch his cheeks anymore and intertwines your fingers so your hands are up in front of you both pushing each other.

"Your annoying." He says leaning his forehead on yours. "And your a Muffin." You shoot back. He smirks. "I take that as a compliment."

"You guys are so cute." Kat says entertained.

You and Shawn immediately pull away.

"Oh we're um-"
"Not together."
"Just-"
"Best Friends."

You both say embarrassed.

"Yeah right. They belong together." Your friend states. "(Y/N) has been in a bad mood all morning, that is until Shawn showed up."

Matt joins now. "Yeah and Shawn gets sooooo protective over (Y/N). It's kind of funny yet terrifying."

You both are blushing as Kat begins to smirk as Matt and your friend continue to talk like you guys aren't even there.

"Kiss" Kat demands, then sees your horrified faces. "Sorry that was creepy but you'll never know until you kiss each other. You might have hidden feelings."

You and Shawn look at each other.

"Eeeeehhh. No." You both say.

"Fine." She says getting up. "I saw that cute little cheek kiss you did earlier. Do that again then." She smiles.

"Okay? But that simple and easy I do it all the time." Shawn says.

"Then it shouldn't be a problem."

Shawn lets out a sigh and leans in to kiss your cheek...but at last minute Kat turns your head and your lips meet with Shawn's soft ones.

And It's amazing.

Matt and your friend gasp loudly. As do others around you.

You pull away quickly and stare at each other. "Holy Shit." Shawn breathes. "Yeah." You agree. One of his hands go to your waist and the other to the back of your head to pull your face to his again.

"Thank me later." Kat suggests.

You continue to indulge in you kiss as Wolf whistles and "Finallys" are yelled across the lunchroom.
