Why is letting you go so hard?
Is it hard because I don't want to forget you or
is it hard because I don't wanna lose myself in you
Letting you go was the hardest thing
for myself to come to terms with
I don't want to lose my good memories with you
But I have to let the bad ones go
These past few months have been a struggle
And I had to tell myself in order to get better
I have to let someone who I truly cared about go
Do I regret all the good memories with you
No I don't
But I regret accepting the bad ones
and not moving forward with my life
So even though it's hard
I have to let you go
