Violet finally made the decision she had been avoiding for a long time: she chose to leave the kingdom and everything that reminded her of Arthur behind. After months of suffering, she managed to settle in the Kingdom of White Bridge, determined to start a new life solely dedicated to her children. Time flew by, but despite her hard work and efforts, Violet struggled to make ends meet. One day, after a particularly grueling day, she heard about a position for a nursemaid to care for the young princes Eric and Edward in White Bridge. Given her experience, she decided to seize the opportunity—after all, it was a chance that seemed to come on a silver platter. The next morning, Violet prepared herself and went directly to the palace. Upon arrival, she was overwhelmed by the number of other candidates, but she regained her composure. She was a strong woman, confident, and had faith that things would work out.As each girl left the interview room with a look of disappointment, Violet's turn finally came. She entered timidly. Henry, initially resigned to reject yet another candidate, was taken aback by Violet’s presence. Her beauty and delicate manner caught him off guard. After a moment of surprise, he regained his composure and addressed her.Henry: "Please, have a seat."Violet sat down without looking up.Henry: "I don’t recall seeing you around. Are you new to the village?"Violet nodded in confirmation.Henry: "Welcome to White Bridge. Please introduce yourself."Violet: "I’m Violet, a young widow and mother of two children. I work hard to provide for them."Henry studied Violet for a moment and saw the sincerity in her words and eyes.Henry: "Congratulations, the job is yours."Violet was taken aback and pleased by the news. She smiled, but the smile quickly faded.Violet: "But I have nowhere to leave my sons."Henry: "Don’t worry, we provide for all palace staff. I’ll ensure that you and your children lack for nothing—a suite, meals, clothing, and even your children’s education will be covered."The offer was too tempting for Violet to refuse. As time passed, Violet and her sons, Chris and Christophe, settled in well. Eric and Edward took a liking to Violet, charmed by her kindness and the way she treated them.Henry, impressed by her gentle nature, began to develop feelings for Violet. He started to get closer, bringing her flowers from time to time. Violet, believing these gestures were mere kindness, didn’t realize that Henry’s feelings went beyond friendship. Known for his generosity, Henry was similar to Violet in many ways. After a few months, King Stephane and Queen Anne returned from their trip, and the palace buzzed with excitement. Violet made sure Eric and Edward were presentable for their parents. At the welcoming party, the king and queen noticed how close their son had become with the nursemaid, raising their suspicions. Henry eventually spoke to his parents, expressing his desire to marry Violet. The revelation shocked them. They had hoped Henry would marry a princess or a duchess, not a widowed villager with two children.Despite their reservations, Henry insisted they give Violet a chance. Stephane and Anne decided to observe how she treated their sons and what they thought of her. Seeing Eric and Edward’s affection for Violet and how she lovingly cared for them, calling her "Mom," made them realize Henry was right. What mattered most was their son’s happiness, not the status of his future wife. The most challenging part now was for Henry to reveal his feelings to Violet. He saw her playing with Eric, Edward, Chris, and Christophe and decided to join them.Henry: "May I join you?"Violet nodded in agreement.Henry: "Boys, go play somewhere else. Miss Violet and I need to talk."Violet looked at him, surprised. Henry took out a bouquet of flowers and handed it to her.Henry: "Violet, I need to tell you something. I can’t keep it in any longer. Whatever your answer, it won’t affect your job."Henry: "I love you, Violet. From the first day I saw you, I couldn’t get you out of my mind. I see you everywhere."Violet blushed deeply at his confession.Henry knelt, presenting a ring.Henry: "Violet, will you marry me?"Violet: "Yes, yes, I want to. I love you too, Henry."Henry embraced her and kissed her with a long, loving kiss. They prepared for the wedding together, happy and excited.Violet and Henry were finally united, and nothing seemed able to separate them now. But, as with many love stories, their adventure was far from over.
