"Fiona, I know you don't want me to talk about this, but if you don't make up your mind soon, someone else will have to!" Aunt Amy yelled as Fiona stormed inside of the house. Her younger siblings were located to the left of the entrance and had heard her footsteps barrel into her room before slamming the door shut. Everyone in the house knew not to bother her while she's in a mood like that.
Meanwhile, Fiona couldn't believe what her aunt told her. How could she even think to mention that kind of thing? Get married? To a spoiled, rotten, rich brat that lived in the city?! No way would she ever do that! Even if it meant her and her siblings would have an easier life. It wasn't fair to her. Fiona would have to live in an loveless and possibly abusive relationship with that stupid Elric. She would never. She couldn't.
Fiona was so outraged, she didn't leave her room until midnight.
When she did leave her room, she was hungry. Luckily enough, her sister knew what a tough time she was having and had left her a snack in the kitchen. She quickly dug into it, not caring enough for what she ate. After it was all gone, she saw a glint of light through the window. That couldn't have been right... could it? It looked like some kind of wisp was trying to enter the cabin through the kitchen window. In a flash, she ran to the door, and as silently as she could opened the door. Once she was outside, and had shut the door slowly, she ran off of the porch and into the forest where the creature of light had taken off to.
"Hey, wait!" She partly yelled out so that she could keep up. Soon enough, she'd found herself in the middle of an opening of trees, it was also then she realised, she had no idea where she was.
"Guess that's why you don't follow strange wisps in the woods, huh?" Fiona gasped out, trying to catch her breath.
All of a sudden, the ground beneath her started glowing a subtle white. "Maybe, I should go back, it was probably just a..." but before she could say anything, the space around turned a blinding white. Her hands covered her eyes as she screamed as she felt herself fall into nothing.
'Damn Wisp!' She thought, then blacked out cold.
When she awoke, she smelt grass, and felt tree bark underneath her. Wait, grass... tree bark...? Fiona sat up fast and got a splitting headache. "Argh, right... followed the wisp..." she groaned.
'Wait...' she thought, 'Where am I again?'.
