Witches Festival

After sitting in the idling car for a couple of minutes, they look out at the front windshield, and watches the witches walk around and talk to one another. With everyone laughing, talking, and eating, Ivory looks at Luna, and says, "It looks like fun. Are you ready?"

"Yeah! I'm ready," Luna says as Ivory turns off the vehicle and both women get out of the vehicle. Walking around the festival for a few minutes and talking to people, they stop at a tent, and Ivory picks up a necklace as they talk to the vendor. With Luna smelling smoke, she puts her nose up, sniffs, and says to Ivory, "I'll be right back. I smell a bonfire. I want to see where it's at."

"Alright, Luna," Ivory says as she looks at the necklace and talks to the vendor.

Walking out of the tent, she sees the fire at the other end of the festival. Watching the flames becoming bigger and brighter, she walks into the tent while the dream of the burning witch comes back to her. Standing next to Ivory, Luna looks at her and says, "A bonfire is at the other end of the festival. Let's head over there!"

"Sounds good! I'm buying this necklace," Ivory says as she shows Luna. Handing the vendor the money, she puts on the necklace, and they walk out of the tent. As they walk through the crowd, Ivory says, "Look! We're almost there."

As they get close to the bonfire, Luna senses Geo, and she abruptly stops in the middle of the crowd. Looking into the large crowd, she says, "Ivory. Geo's here! I can sense him!"

"Where?" she asks, as she stops walking and looks into the crowd. Seeing him talking to a couple of people, she points over to him, and says to Luna, "Luna. You're right. He's over there."

"I'm going to grab his attention. I'll be right back," Luna says.

"Okay!" Ivory says.

"Geo!" she yells as she pushes her way through the crowd and walks towards him. As she gets closer, she smiles and yells louder, "Hey Geo!"

"Luna! I'll be right there. Meet me at the bonfire!" Geo says, pointing to the bonfire.

"Okay! I'll meet you over there," Luna yells as she walks back to Ivory.

As Luna walks to Ivory, she looks at the necklace, and says, "Come on! We're going to meet Geo over at the bonfire."

"Did you know he was going to be here?" Ivory asks as they walk to the bonfire

"No. I had no clue," Luna says as they get to the bonfire. As they stand in front of the fire, the heat hits their body, and Ivory watches the crowd, while Luna says, "Ivory, do mind if Geo and I speak alone for a few minutes."

"No! I don't mind. I'll go over there and talk to those witches," Ivory says, as she softly chuckles and rolls her eyes. Pointing into the crowd, she says, "Look! He's almost here."

As he walks up to them, he stands next to Luna, puts both palms of his hands up to the flames, and says, "Hey Luna! Hey Ivory! It's nice to see you both!" And with him looking at the people around the fire, he looks over at Luna and says, "I see that you're wearing purple! Are you heightening your senses?"

"Yeah! I am! Why not? What could it hurt," she says as she looks at him with a smile. As she puts the palms of her hands to the flame, she looks at him, and says, "What have you been up to?"

"Nothing too much! Just have been busy!" he says as he looks at Ivory.

"Hey Geo," Ivory says as she looks at him.

"How are you, Ivory? It's nice to see you again." Geo says as he looks at Luna.

"I'm good," Ivory says as she looks at them, and into the crowd. Beginning to feel awkward, she says, "Hey guys! I'm going to walk around and talk to the other witches. I'll see you guys in a little bit."

"Okay. I'll find you or give you a call when I'm ready," Luna says to Ivory.

"Sounds like a plan. If I don't hear from you then I'll come back," Ivory says as she walks away.

Watching her walk away, she glances into the crowd and looks at Geo. Instantly, her energy becomes heightened, her body becoming tight, she senses that Isla just posted on social media. With her psychic self-appearing and disappearing within seconds, they watch her silhouette, and she asks, "How have you been?"

"I've been good! I see that Isla posted on social media," he says.

As Luna pulls out her phone, and opens social media, she goes to her page. Seeing a new post, she stares at the people who are standing at the bonfire, and says, "Yep! You are right! Isla posted on the social media."

"Come on! Let's go sit on the bench over there," he says, as he grabs her hand, and she closes social media. As they walk away from the bonfire, and to an empty bench, he says, "Let's sit here.

"Need to know. Is Isla a witch, Geo?" Luna asks as they sit down.

"Yes and no. She's psychic, and somewhat a witch. She's not like us. If that makes any sense," he says, as he stares into the crowd with his demeanor changing. With his energy slowly drifting into hers and becoming heavy, she senses the change and that something is coming, and he says, "Just ignore her."

"That's hard to do when she's lighting up in my space," Luna says as they look at each other. Instantly, he moves his lips up to his ear lobes, and he shows all his teeth his eyes, while he gives her a blank stare. Seeing a different person than what she's use to, she smacks him on the leg, and asks, "What are you doing?"

With his eyes coming back to life, his mouth shifts back to normal, and he says, "Don't be alarmed. It's ok!"

"What the f*ck was that? Why would you show me that?" she asks as he massages his cheeks.

"I'm not sure why. Something told me to," he says, shrugging his shoulders, and looks at the crowd.

"Well! That was weird, Luna says, as Luna points into the crowd. With them watching Ivory walk towards them, she says, "Look! There's Ivory. She's coming our way."

"Hey guys! You just missed a great act!" Ivory says as she stands in front of them. Sensing the tension, she looks at them both, and asks Luna, "Are you ready? Don't you have to work in the morning?"

"Yeah! I'm ready! Thanks for the reminder," Luna sarcastically says.

As Geo looks at both women, he taps Luna's knee a couple of times, stands up, and says, "I'll see you ladies, later. I'm sure we'll run into each other again."

"Likewise! It was great seeing you too. We'll see each other again. I'm sure of it," Luna says.

Watching him walk away, Ivory sits on the bench, while Luna stares into the crowd. Replaying what Geo did, Ivory stares with curiosity, and she nudges her with her shoulder and says, "Luna! Earth to Luna. Why are you staring into space? How was the conversation. What did he say?"

Raising her eyebrows, she looks at Ivory, and whispers, "You know what he did? He shifted his face to the jackal on the wall by the clock at work. The same jackal that Amelia purchased at the flea market. And when he did it, he had a blank stare. That explains why I kept staring at the jackal. I couldn't figure it out at that time, but now I know."

"What? What did he do that for? Is he cuckoo?" Ivory says as she looks at Luna.

"I'm not sure why he did it, but he did. He did say that something told him to do it," Luna says as she stands up and grabs Ivory's hand. Pulling her up from the bench, she says, "Come on! Let's go home."
