Nahida has been.. off lately... She has been acting a little weird ever since that day and she stutters a lot when I remind her of that day she would make 'excuses', turn the subject around or she would run away before I could speak. I'm quite worried about her... Wait.. I'm worried..? I'm worried about a little girl? That's quite new...
"Hey Katakuri!" Nahida yelled. I snapped back to reality and looked up to see her on top of a tree. "Hello Nahida.. what are you doing today?" I asked as I get up from my recent sitting spot and sat near the tree where Nahida was sitting on top. "Nothing.. Just savoring life..." Nahida said nonchalantly with a obvious sad tone. I was thinking on what to say when I got an idea.. This was my only chance...
"Nahida?" I said, "Yes?" she said. "Why do you keep stuttering and make excuses when I ask about that day?" I asked and she just kept quiet. She sighed and open her mouth to talk but stopped, "Why did you stop?" I asked with a impatient tone. " I'm sorry.. I cant tell you." She said. "Why? Please tell me I wont laugh or anything." I said, "Very well.." She started. "In my world.. I was taken away by people and was thrown into a ball-like prison where I always dreamed of my birthday.. It was like a loop... but the loop would turn happy to sad... I don't even know how long I've stayed in that prison.." She said looking down and not meeting my eyes. my eyes widened of shock. 'How could they imprison such a child that did nothing wrong?' I thought. "Are you okay with them imprisoning you?" I asked and she didn't answer, I waited for a few minutes when she finally spoke "Yes, besides they are my people right?" She answered. 'People?' I thought for a second, "What do you mean people?" I asked. "They are my people who I cherish" She said, "Why are you letting them imprison you!?" I asked while shouting at her. "Because I love them! They are my people I cherish the most! Like the Traveler and Paimon!.. I cherish them the most since they helped my people get out of the Akasha Terminals! The Akasha Terminals stole everyone's dreams! Which was a big nuisance to Sumeru.. They tried they're best.. That's why I cherish them the most.." She said as she started crying. I felt bad.. I stood up and held Nahida in my arms (Yes he is more taller than the tree itself). She cried and cried, she then fell asleep and I took her into her room where I gently put her down on the bed, I then left her so she can sleep peacefully, I went to my room to sleep because it was already midnight.
