Moving to a entirely new place sucks.
You gotta leave the people you know, your school (even though it sucks), neighbors i guess, the corner stores you'd always go to, but most important of all, the home that you were used to being in your whole life. With all of it's memories, the good and bad ones, and the stuff you put in it to make it feel like it's truely your home. But thats all gone now, afterall, I am moving aren't I?
"Listen [name] I know it's hard moving away far from home but we have to look on the bright side!" My dad said trying to cheer me up while checking we packed everything "You can start fresh! You wont have to worry about embarrasing moments!"
"but that wont change that I'm leaving my whole life behind!" I retaliated.
"Listen, I get that this is heart breaking for you, and it is for me too! But we have to take up new oppertunities that will benefit us" He said.
"Well this sure isn't benefitting me.." I practiclly whispered heading out for the door with my things, ready to go, reluctantly of course.
"No back talk!" He yelled, getting up to go get the car started.
I swear he has super hearing or some shit. We both go to the car and get inside to start the trip of abandoning my whole life. Looking out the window I see my house. It looks like my house but it feels lifeless when nothings inside it. This house just like me fr... Dad starts to drive away, and the house just keeps getting farther and farther away. I know looking back at it will just make me sadder, but i couldn't help it. Once I couldn't see my home anymore I stopped looking back. My old life was officially gone and left in the dust. I pulled out my phone and headphones to play some music. To help me sleep or some shit. I don't really feel like being awake right now. Thank god it worked because i felt my eyes getting sleepy, and soon was sound asleep.
My eyes slowly open to see new surroundings outside the car window. I feel like dog shit even though I just slept. The fuck is up with that?? Anyways, I sit in a more straight postion and stretch my tired limbs.
