Bobbing and ducking between people from all different walks of life, there is a particular child- well teenager. Standing just above five foot, she scurried down the street, uttering her apologies when bumping into people. The girl still isn't used to the big city and it's honestly very disorienting. She naws on her berry colored bottom lip as she picks up the pace. She's going to be late... again. She huffs in annoyance as she blows a strand of her warm strawberry blonde hair from her face. She always has to be late, if only she would get her a ride to school, or let her use her magic at least. The girl's backpack bounces up and down with every bound. With a smile the girl sees her school and sighs out this time in relief. People are still lingering outside, which means the bell must not have rung yet. She hurried her pace just a bit faster, practically running at this point. Just as she nears the gate, she hears the annoying bell ring. With a roll of her eyes she slows her pace, turning the corner of the gate and nearly slamming into a boy in her class. With a small yelp she hits the ground, the contents of her book bag scattering over the ground."God" She pushes her hair out of her face and looks at the boy standing in front of her.
"Clumsy and late, as always Nora." The brunette boy says looking down at her with a smile. Nora playfully rolls her hazel eyes.
"Please, Henry, I'm on time. The bell is mistaken." She jokes as she moves to shove all of her things into her backpack. Henry laughs and goes to help her.
"What's got you running so behind anyway?" Nora asks, peering up at him with her large doe eyes before stuffing some loose change back into her bag.
"Traffic was crazy." He says as she climbs to her feet, smoothing out her jeans and black rain jacket.
"Like you?" She says teasingly as she bumps shoulders with him, or shoulder arm because of how short she is.
"Haha, Nor, very funny. You should look into stand up comedy." Nora giggles and shakes her head walking side by side with him into school.
"Pft, already did, it's not my scene." They head towards the general office to get late passes as Henry bumps me lightly.
"Oh and what would that be." He asks as she busies herself adjusting her gray scarf
"Definitely not here." She motions around her to the school hallways, as Henry pulls open the office door.
"Lady's first." He says with a smile. Nora rocks back on the heels of her boots and smirks.
"Oh then what are you waiting for, Henrietta." She sticks her tongue out at him as she playfully shoves her through the doorway.
"What ever, Norman." She laughs maybe a bit too loudly as the receptionist glares at the pair of them.
"Please hold." The young receptionist, that has a rose tattoo on her wrist, smiles a fake smile at the two of them.
"And why are you two late?" Henry goes to say something but Nora cuts him off.
