Sea crashes against the land
Land defends against the sea
The sea sends storms with the goal to demolish land itself
The land stands stubborn and tall waiting for the right moment to attack
This is the ruthlessness of Mother Nature herself, or is it?

The land and sea are lifelong soul mates
Destined to suffer the presence of each other till the end of time
No two things are more different than these two
Yet the world around us needs both to survive.

Both uphold a heavy burden
If one fails, the harmony of nature would never recover
The land is firm and tough created to hold life within its very palm
The sea is flexible and easy-going letting life flow through it as it pleases
Surely they could never get along,
Unless we are telling the story wrong?

The land and sea are souls intertwined by a powerful being
Something that not even they can escape from
If one suffers, the other suffers
If one becomes stronger the other becomes stronger

They spend their whole lives together:
Humbling one another, keeping each other in line
Celebrating each other's successes and comforting each other when they suffer a loss
Adoring each other with a powerful love that very few understand

This is the way the world is and has always been;
A world full of wonder, full of hope despite the shadows holding back the truth
