The Girl Who Changed Hogwarts

Malfoy kept an eye on her for the next few days. He has never had a girlfriend, but as much as he hated to admit it, she was his type. She was laid back but she got her schoolwork done, she had friends but didn't care to be alone. Good. It is so annoying when you can't get to a girl because she is surrounded by a group of giggly girls. Another thing that Malfoy found interesting was that she doesn't giggle. She doesn't laugh really. In the common room, in the great hall, she merely smiles at jokes. She doesn't gossip like other girls. He noticed that she was never in a bad mood, and was nice. But, she still was Slytherin. She was sneaky and cunning but not cruel and meant to harm. She always smiled. He could read girls like a book. But, seeing how she is, he was nervous to approach her. She had cracked his shield of confidence. But, he was determined not to let that show. He had carefully planned out how to talk to her. So, it was the first class of the day (DADA) and he decided to ask to be her partner. He walked up to her.
"Sup, Renolds." She smiled, amused.
"It's Aubry. I don't understand that whole last name thing. I never did catch your first name anyway."
"I don't tell people my first name. Malfoy is what I go by. Got a problem?"
She raised her eyebrows.
"Your proud of being a Malfoy, eh?"
He smirked widely. She was still smiling.
"I want to apologize." What?
"I didn't mean to sound rude the first night I arrived. I just thought it came out harsh." She looked down. He was shocked. This girl, was too nice. Too sweet.
"How did you get in Slytherin?"
"I believe that being in Slytherin isn't about being cruel and bullying. That's part of the reason of why I was sent here. To help the people." Woah. Sounds like some secret mission to Malfoy.
"You were sent? By who?"
"I may tell you one day. But, maybe you'll find out yourself." Then, she trotted off to sit by Hermione Granger of all people.
