A female sat on her window sill, deep in thought. She looked out into the night as rain quietly fell onto the streets, roof, and windows. The females attention flickered once again towards the window. She briefly cupped her hands over the window and blew gently, causing condensation on the transparent glass. Then she quickly drew a heart in a few swift motions. She then leaned back satisfied with her creation. She wiped her damp fingers from the condensation on her coral coloured PJ shorts. She watched the water droplets travel down the window sill as they appeared to be racing. They became bigger as if they swallowed the smaller drops, before splashing onto the sill below. The female yawned and stood up, closing the blinds and crawling into bed. She turned over, and pulled her knees to her chest curling into a ball. Then yanking the covers up to her chin she closed her eyes thankful for the warmth of her bed. Her head was full of thoughts and she figured she could never sleep. Slowly but surely, her brain let go of these thoughts and fell into the dark deep void of sleep.
