I died a little on the inside when my teacher handed me the homework I had to complete over my break, I didn't show it of course, I simply smiled as she got up."Good bye Miss.K"
"Goodbye Y/n". Once I heard the door click shut I leaped onto my bed in misery, at least I had a month to complete it. Mama had hired a private teacher for me, she said it would make me smarter than going to school would. I still think that's a lie, she just wants me to stay isolated, she never liked the idea of friends, she said they'd never benefit me. Mama says a lot of things, it's hard to believe most of them.
But I know she just wants to protect me even if it means I have to die alone. She wanted me to be successful. That's why she put me in so many extra classes like ballet, gymnastics, piano, swimming, she also got me a vocal coach.
I want to be a star, I want the whole world to know my name. A lot of celebs have mothers who forced them into the spotlight like mine did, but unlike them I really enjoy the spotlight, I like the recognition I receive.
"Y/n can you sign my book please I'm your biggest fan!!!!"
I feel happy seeing all these people fawn over me. I can't even go to a grocery store without a crowd forming around me, it makes me feel... Special.
