To live in the city is to live bustling. The city never sleeps. It is busy and especially loud, because what all the city wants is to be heard.
The city doesn't give breaks. The city is too busy running, it leaves the ones who lacks the motivation to move forward. The city is cruel to the lazy.
However, the city is my soulmate. Its busy atmosphere embraced me with comfort. I have intertwined my fingers with the city. We have agreed to move forward together.
Therefore, no matter how crowded the streets are, I still find peace in it.
Walking along the apartment neighborhood at 5 p.m. has now become a habit of mine. I would bring a book (obviously) and a sketchbook with me, wear my headphone and listen to some guitar music, then finally put on my favorite coat. Then I'll walk outside and enjoy the evening breeze.
Being an architecture student in an infamous university is never easy. I might have busier schedule than K-Pop idols. Hunting junks, remodeling the junks, the smell of glue being my new best friend, clumsy cuts around the fingers, and eye bags darker than the asphalt.
Not to mention the essays, research, group presentation, solo presentation, even college clubs and extracurriculars were tiring.
I swear sometimes I have the desire to kick my senior's butt.
Books, coffee, and evening walks like this were the ones who kept me on track. My mind was always at peace and I felt like I can put my life back to its places.
"Yuna!" That is until this tall boy pulled me to a random cafe, "don't you think Ryujin looks good with long hair?" just to listen to him worshiping his girlfriend.
He chuckled and brightly stared at his phone. He bit his thumb nail. "She send me this picture just now."
