One month later...
Abby and Keith waited in the living room, neither speaking. She was pacing, Keith standing against the couch.
"It's gonna be okay," he told her.
"I can't believe this is happening," Abby groaned. She looked up at him with wide eyes as she tried to self soothe by rubbing her arms.
"Let's just see what it says first," Keith told her.
She nodded, taking a deep breath and trying to calm down. She checked her watch, then began pacing more.
"What would I even do?" Abby asked Keith.
"We'll figure it out, okay?" He tried to give her a reassuring smile, but it didn't help. Again she checked her watch.
"It's been three minutes," Abby said.
"Do you want me to look at it?" He asked her. She nodded.
"Yes please."
Abby ran her hands through her hair as Keith walked into the bathroom. Her heart was pounding in her ears. What were the odds?
Keith walked out of the bathroom holding the pregnancy test. He glanced up at her.
"Well?" She asked nervously.
He met her eyes, then turned it around so she could see.
"It's positive."
