"Dr. Lightwood, you've created an international emergency! The elderly have become a great financial burden!" shouted Commander Herondale as he banged his fist against the table angrily.
"Well, I could increase the lifespan of humans, but I couldn't possibly reverse the aging process! Do you want to see humans budding of tiny animals? That would be disastrous!" I shrieked back. "Besides, you and the government never asked me about the details of the pill! You just wanted to market it out immediately and get the money from the public as soon as possible! You said 'as long as it doesn't have any bad side effects we'll market it out immediately'! You just wanted the money and didn't think about the consequences of an aging society!"
"Yesterday, the government held a meeting and it has been decided that we will dispose of all elderly aged 200 and above," said Commander Herondale, who had managed to calm himself down.
He walked out of the room. Immediately, the radio automatically started and announced what Commander Herondale had said to the public.
