It's what you knew your relationship didn't have

You remember the day you broke up like it was
yesterday. You were sitting on the couch in your living room, and you could feel the tension between you. You had been fighting more and more lately, and you knew that something had to give.

You took a deep breath and looked at him. "I think we need to talk," you said. Ejirou looked at you with a mixture of sadness and anger. "What is it?" He asked.

"I don't think this is working out," you said. "We've been arguing so much lately, and I just don't feel like we're on the same page anymore."

He started to cry, and you felt a pang in your chest. You didn't want to hurt him, but you knew that this was the right thing to do. You talked for a while longer, both of you trying to make sense of what had happened.

After he left, you felt numb. You couldn't believe that it was over. You had been together for so long, and you had thought that you were going to be together forever. But now, everything had changed.

Over the next few weeks, you went through all the stages of grief. You felt angry, sad, and confused. You missed him terribly, but you knew that you couldn't go back to the way things were.

You woke up early in the morning, the sun is just starting to rise, and you hear your daughter stirring in her bed. You groggily make your way to her room, rubbing the sleep from your eyes, and find her sitting up in bed, waiting for you.

"Good morning, mommy!" She exclaimed , grinning from ear to ear.

You can't help but smile back at her, despite the early hour. Being a parent is not always easy, but moments like this make it all worthwhile.

You help your daughter get dressed and make her breakfast, all while trying to get yourself ready for the day. You pack her backpack, making sure you both have everything you need for school, and give her a big hug before she heads out the door.
