There was another minute of silence before Sophia spoke up, completely stunned, "I'm sorry, what?"

"Yeah, I talked to Mr. Stark and he said that you're one of the Top 5 people on the list" said Peter, feeling like a huge weight was lifted off his chest.

"koji kurac. majko mila. šta. Wait, he really said that?" (what the fuck. oh sweet mother. what.) (kurac actually means dick but whatever)

"Yep, and you should come by tomorrow if you want to do this. Now I gotta go to school, I just dropped by to give you pizza and the news. Just think about it." said Peter, exiting the apartment himself and just like that, he was gone.

Sophia was blankly staring at a spot on her wall, the sword sparkling in the sunlight was another thing she could see, she felt like she could almost see her toughts form infront of her eyes. 'me? an Avenger?'

She wasn't sure if she was dreaming or not so she pinched herself, but as always, she forgot she had super-strenght. Yep, she did pinch herself super hard and was now making a bee-line for the freezer, in which she kept the ice cubes. She put them in a towel and let them cool the pinch.

All that made her mind wander both further and closer to the offer. I mean, she wanted to be an Avenger, but at the same time, she wanted to be the fearless and sometimes friendly Silver Spider.

She knew that the Avengers wouldn't give two shits about the people of NYC, but at the same time she knew that they probably had their missions overlooked by someone, Peter did mention a 'Mr. Fury' once.

So Sophia does whenever something goes wrong - she texts the group chat. But not after signing into her online classes and telling her professor the reason she was absent yesterday was "temperature" and that she would be off today too.
