Chuck and Blair's Vow

Chapter 2

Chucks pov

As I go to leave the office early then intended my phone buzzes in my pocket, it's a 911 number. Without thinking I answer.

"This is Chuck Bass"

"Mr Bass your wife has been in an accident and is unconscious. We need you to get down here right away."

I hang up and drive into my limo screaming to drive to the hospital as fast as he can go. On the way I call Serena telling her what's happened and tell her to make sure that she takes care of Henry.

When we arrive at the hospital everything is a blur. Doctors surrounding me unsure of my wife's fate. Of course she will survive, she has to. Serena and everyone else arrive. Serena and Dan carry Henry. Henry can't loose a mother. He's to young.

Everyone gives me their sympathy and I try to be grateful but I'm constantly demanding when she will wake up.

About 3 hours later I hear back from them.

She is awake. The only thing that makes my limbs move as fast as they can. I sprit down the corridor and into the private ward she's lying wrapped up in everything. I can only see her face. She looks up at me in a weird way. A way I have never seen her look. A way where I look a stranger.

"Blair sweetie its me Chuck."

She replies with something nobody can ever prepare themselves for

"Are you a doctor?"

I hear my heart shattering. She has memory loss.

"No, I'm your husband."

Henry comes running into the room, excited to see his mother. He looks around to find a visible part of his mother. He sees her face and he lights up.

"Mommy, mommy I was so worried you had gone to sleep forever!"

Blair looks confused as ever. Realising she is missing pieces of the puzzle she replies with

"Well I'm here now."

Henry runs off and smiles shouting to Serena. If only he knew. I try to take everything in. Blair looks the same.

She says

"Where's my mother? I didn't think Waldorf designs could make her late for her daughters wake in hospital."

I smile so happy that she only has short term memory loss. How short term though?

"Blair, your mother and Cyrus live in Paris and are coming in on the next flight. Blair what is your last memory?"

She looks hard.

"I remember going off to my first day at Constance's with Serena."

My heart drops, she won't remember me. The doctors come in and usher me out. I walk out crying. She doesn't remember me or Henry.

4 DAYS LATER

Blairs POV

I look in the mirror of my apparent house. The young boy that is mine, follows me. I learnt his name is Henry and he is almost 6 years old and that I'm a committed mother. Unlike most of the women on the Upper East Side.

I have a best friend called Serena who I remember, just not everything, probably for the best. High school sounds like just how I expected it to be. I was Queen B, got straight A+'s.

I had a boyfriend throughout High School called Nate. According to him we where perfect on paper but not in reality.

I don't even remember nor do I want to remember Dan. He is nothing except Serena's husband.

Then there is Chuck. Apparently we have an epic love story documented on a site called Gossip Girl which was the biggest thing ever. Besides me and Chuck apparently. Chuck has been trying to re jog my memory on everything. Our wedding pictures, gossip girl posts.

I'm supposed to get my memory back form weeks to years. As I go down the stairs to which chuck is making me breakfast. He has taken time off work to help me. I vaguely remember hearing my mother talk about bass industries when I was younger. Well now he owns it. Henry waits to be picked up by me. I don't know what to do. I somehow succeed as though I have been doing it my whole life. I hug the stranger that is my son. Once chuck who according to Dorota (whom I remember as she has been with me my whole life.)cannot cook lays down breakfast I see why he doesn't cook.

It's literally a bowl of cereal and a glass of juice. He looks at me

"Blair, this is what you have for breakfast every morning?" Almost a question.
