Wally Darling x Julie Joyful: Cheesy lil love story because yes

Chapter 1: First Encounter

Wally POV:
It was a beautiful day. The birds were singing and the flowers were blooming- "Perfect for painting outside!" Wally thought. Wally grabbed his favorite paint set and set out to find a spot to paint. He walked for a minute or so until he stumbled upon a tree with a good amount of shade underneath. He set up his easel and stool, prepared his paints on a pallets and began to paint the little flowerbed in front of him. He had painted for a good bit, and he was close to finishing when he heard a chirpy sing song-ish voice coming closer. He paused his painting and looked in front of him-
standing in the front of the flower bed picking the flowers, was a girl with long gorgeous blonde hair and a cute flowy pink dress with leggings and gorgeous brown eyes- she was the prettiest thing Wally had ever seen. "Who- who is she?" Wally thought to himself. He was about to speak until- "Oh! So sorry! Did I get in the way of your painting?" The young woman asked, "No! No! Not at all, In fact i had just finished it, would you like to see?" Wally said. "Of course!" Grinned the young girl as she skipped over to see the painting.

Julie POV:
The bus had just parked at the bus stop. Julie was the first one off the bus. "WOO HOO! New neighborhood and new neighbors!!! I'm so EXCITED!!!" Shouted Julie. "Julie! Can you help us get this luggage off the bus before you start prancing around like that?" Said her sister Franny. "Oh sorry- lemme help with that!". After a few minutes of helping her siblings unload the luggage, she decided she'd go explore around and see what all there is to do. She came across a nature park. "I wonder if there's any flowers to pic in here!" Julie thought as she entered the park gleefully. Stumbling around the park a little, she sees a pretty little flower bed and skips towards it, and starts picking the flowers. After she picked up a third flower, she looks up and spots a painting easel in front of the flower bed and behind it- the most handsome man she had ever seen. He had blue wavy hair, a blue sweater with a red scarf, and the warmest smile she had seen. Julie couldn't help but blush a little.

Both POV:
Julie skips over to see what Wally had painted and her jaw drops.

Julie: "YOU PAINTED THAT?!"

Wally: "Yes I did! Do you like it?"

Julie: "LIKE IT?! I LOVE IT!!! You're very talented!"

Wally: "Aww gee, that's awfully kind of you stranger ☺️"

Julie: "OH- I should introduce myself before trampling over your flower bed and going crazy over your painting haha- my name is Julie! Julie Joyful! I just moved into this neighborhood with my siblings!"

Wally: "Welcome to the neighborhood! My name is Wally Darling, I kinda run this neighborhood, it's a very quaint area but it's lovely. I hope you and your siblings like it here!"

Julie: "O-oh! That's very sweet of you!"

They look in each others eyes for a moment- before looking away with a little blush on their cheeks.

Julie: "W-well I better go! My siblings are probably waiting for me at the house."

Wally: "You're leaving already?! Will I see you again?"

Julie pauses, then she smiles

Julie: "of course! I just moved here after all! I'll see you around Wally Darling!"

Before she leaves, she plants a little kiss on Wally's cheek before running off. Wally stops- holds his cheek for a moment- then gives a big dumb smile while blushing

Wally: "What a gal~💖"

What Wally didn't know, is that things were going to get better from this point out

When Julie arrives home, she awaits Bea already having dinner made for all of them.

Bea: Julie! You're back! I was wondering when you were coming home!

Julie: "sorry for the wait! It's just that- I met someone"

Bea: "You met someone already? What's their name"

Julie: "His name is-"

At that moment- Franny and her brother, Jonesy walk in

Franny and Jonesy: "HE?!"

Julie jumped with a jolt

Julie: "ACK- WHEN DID YOU TWO GET HERE??"

Franny: "we've been eavesdropping lmao"

Jonesy: "anyways, enough with the chit chat- who is this guy you met?"

Julie: "well, his name is Wally, he runs the neighborhood."

Bea: "Interesting! What else did he say about himself"

Julie: "He didn't say.. but I did find out he can paint- he paints beautifully actually- I've never seen.."

Jonesy: "what did he look like?"

Julie jumps little and thinks back to what he looked like- just the thought of him made Julie turn into mush.

Franny: "Uh... Julie? What did he look like?"

Julie: "Oh! Well he had blue spiral hair, and he wore a blue sweater and..... he had the most gorgeous pair of eyes and the... sweetest smile. Such a sweet smile..~"

Bea, Franny, and Jonesy all look at her, and then each other- then gave each other a smirk

Jonesy: you know what I think Julie?

Julie: what?

Jonesy: ....you've definitely got a crush on him 😏

Julie's face heats up to a million

Julie: W-WHAT?! CRUSH!!? NO WAY- it's way too soon!!!!

Jonesy: suuuuuure it is sis 😂😂😂😂

Julie: c-can we just eat now please? T-T

Bea: OH THATS RIGHT- lemme just fix the plates!

At dinner, Julie could barely eat- her thoughts were too consumed with Wally. She giggled every time she thought of him, she hoped she'd see him again.

Julie: **I.. I want to see him again. Soon.**
