"Will you marry me?" He asked, his dark brown eyes filled with love and warmth as his big hand held onto mine.
"Yes, yes, I'll marry you!" I exclaim, throwing myself into his arms. I welcomed his warm embrace, the smell of the exspenive musky cologne filled my nose, and I welcomed that too.
He lets out a breath of relief and kisses the side of my head. I had never been so happy and content in my life.
He picked me up and spun me around in his arms, giggling and laughing as a bright smile painted his face. After a few seconds, he sets me down and cups my face. "I love you so much," and before I could reply, he kissed me.
It's slow, filled with love and passion, and adoration. He kissed me so softly. I felt like I was glass, and he was afraid he'd break me if he kissed any harder. And I kissed him back, my heart besting to its full extent due to happiness.
Right then and there, I knew that I'd be with him for the rest of my life. I loved him with every fiber of my being, I loved him with my soul body and mind, I loved him so much that it hurt.
"We're getting married," I say, giggling and leaning my head onto his shoulder.
A gasp leaves my mother's lips, and my father gave me a knowing smile. "Oh my God! No! Really?!" My mother asks in disbelief. And I raise my hand to show her the ring, proving to her that it was true.
My mother lets out a happy cry, and she jumps up from her seat to hug us both, crying happy tears and saying how happy she was for us.
I knew my father felt the same, I could see tears brimming his eyes, but I knew he'd try to act tough, only wiping his tears away and smiles. He, too, got up and hugged us tightly.
I hugged my father back, the swirl of my emotions taking over, and I softly cried. I'm happy that I'd finally be starting my life with the person I love the most. I couldn't have been happier than I was.
"Good evening, Ms.Choi. We'd like to inform you that we've received your resume, and we'd be honored if you'd come work for us, Mr. Lee from the art gallery of Seoul says, a smile evident in his voice.
I smile and silently dance in my spot before answering him. "Thank you so much, Mr. Lee, you won't regret it!"
To which he laughs, "I'm counting on you. Have a good day, Ms. Choi"And with that, he hung up.
"I got the job!" I exclaim, and he loudly cheers, tackling me into a hug which made us both fall back onto the couch. "I'm so happy for you, baby," he says, kissing me all over my face. I giggle and try to shied myself from the kisses.
He noticed and pined my hands to the couch, kissing me square on my mouth. I kiss him back, my heart swelling. I couldn't have been happier.
"I found it! It's just as you described your dream home. It's perfect for us, and I spoke with the real estate agent and got it at a great price!" His voice rang through the phone. I drop my paintbrush and gasp. "No flicking way!" I exclaim. "Yes fricking way!" He exclaims back."You're going to love it! He's going to show us the inside tomorrow morning. "
I laugh in excitement. "Ahh! I'm so excited!"
"Me too, I can't wait to see your reaction!"
"I love you so much,"
"I love you more~"Things couldn't be more perfect.
Today was the day. My nerves wracked through my body as multiple scenarios of how much could go wrong runs through my mind. What if I trip and fall? What if something caught on fire? What if-
"Relax Dear... you'll be fine. Today will be perfect." My mother calms me down, adjusting my hair. "What if something goes wrong?" I ask.
"I'll handle it." She smiles
"What if something happens?"
"I'll handle it," She repeats.
"What if-" She cut me off and pressed a finger to my lips. "I'll handle it. You focus on your big day, okay? Today is the day you'll remember for the rest of your lives. He is going to see you, and he's going to fall in live with you all over again. Today will be perfect. I'll make sure of that. " She smiles.
"Now stop being tense, relax, and take a deep breath." I relax my shoulders and take a deep breath before exhaling. "You're all grown up," she says, her voice quivering a bit.
Before I could say anything back to her, my cousin steps in and tells us that it's time. I inahle and then exhale. "I'll call your father," my mother says and kisses my cheek before she's out of the room.
Not long after that, my father comes walking in, smartly dressed in a black tuxedo. "You look beautiful," he says, kissing my forehead. "Thanks, dad," I smile.
I hold rightly onto my father's arm with my left hand as my right clutches the bouquet of flowers. My heart was beating a thousand miles an hour with eat step I take.
My eyes look around, seeing the guests stare at me in awe. And then I look at the altar, my breath caught in my throat as I see him standing there, seemingly glowing in his white tuxedo.
He smiles brightly, his eyes sparkling, most probably due to tears he's desperately trying to keep in. I feel my smile widen, my whole being relaxing the closer I get to him until finally, my father hands me over to him.
"Take care of my baby," my father says, and he smiles. "I will, sir,"
My father goes to sit down, and my soon to be husband smiles at me. "You look breathtakingly beautiful," he says.I smile. "You don't look too bad yourself," to which he chuckles.
And we stand at the altar for what seems for hours until -
"I now prenounce you, Husband and wife! You may now-" before the pastor could finish his sentence, He wraps his arms around my waist as I wrap mine around his neck and we kiss eachother lovingly, the crow cheering loudly as we kiss. And a few seconds later, we pull away, and he rests his forehead onto mine. "I love you, Kim Y/n."
"I love you more, Kim Taehyung"
