At the end of my shift yesterday, I went to my car to grab my purse. I usually leave it there when I don't need it but tonight I am going to. I have a bunch of gadgets left over from my other jobs in there. I was planning on fixing the place up a bit before the shift. Everyone was gone and I was alone. The purple specter, Vincent I think his name was, came out with me. I rolled my eyes.
"What?" He asked. I said nothing and proceeded to take my purse from my car. I feel around in my purse and retrieve my car keys. I locked my car and went inside. I walked to the security room and set my purse on the table. I walk over to the coffee machine and turn it on, making coffee. As the coffee machine was working, I dumped out my purse on the table.
There was a wrench, pliers, four microchips, a sim card, an sd card, a camera battery, a scratch awl, mini hammer, a set of gears, six D batteries, a mini notepad, a golf pencil, three pens, an oversized pencil, red metallic paint, an rc wheel, three phone chargers, wires, a phone battery, a DS stylus, a gold tee, a store receipt, chapstick, mint gum, a pack of mentos, magnets, and a couple other things. Jeremy walked in and looked at the table.
"G-geez woman. What mo-ore do yo-ou nee-ed?" I playfully punched his arm. He chuckled.
"You-u've got an hour t-to get things-s tidied u-up the way you w-want. Then, you've go-ot to be ba-ack here as-sap." Jeremey said. I nodded. I shoved the unneeded things back into my bag and grabbed my tools. I walked out to the party room and started repairing the animatronics. Their voice boxes were glitching and I thought I'd fix them while I'm here.
Half an hour later, I fixed all four voice boxes. It wasn't easy because each one was set at a different pitch and a different tone and all that. I used to be a digital repairwoman before my architectural job. I sighed, moving onto Mangle to put her back together again. She moved her head and looked up at me.
"Thank you." She said, her voice running smooth thanks to me. I smiled at her. It took me thirteen minutes to put her back together. Seven minutes left. I started fixing the faulty chairs and tables when I had two minutes left to get back to Jeremy. I gather up my tools and start walking towards the security door. There was a hand on my shoulder. I look back and it was Vincent. He balled up his fist and with a smirk, left-hooked my jaw. I quickly took hold of his arm and twisted it behind him.
"You've got a lot of nerve doing that." I said in a threatening tone. He just darkly chuckled. Mangle stood up from where I had fixed her and double-punched him in the guts.
"Leave her alone!"
"Or what?" The clock bell rang. Oh crap... Vincent chuckled and disappeared.
"Thank you." I said and started to leave.
"You're welcome, I still owe you." I smiled once again and collected my tools and ran like all Hades broke loose.
"I'm here, I'm here!" I shouted. Jeremy looked anxious right when I came in. He hugged me close.
"I'm alright Jeremy." I said. Something made a thud noise in front of the hallway. I turn on the flashlight and it was Mangle. Jeremy started freaking out. It was then that I realised what she was doing.
"Jermy, Jermy. Calm down. She's not going to hurt us." I said. He didn't hear me. I rolled my eyes and checked my purse for an ice pack to help with the burn of pain in my jaw. I couldn't find one. I sighed and held my jaw with my right hand and scrolled through the tablet with my left. I wound up the Marionette's box and made a cup of coffee. Jeremy was calm by then.
"Here," I handed him the tablet. "I have to call my mom." Jeremy nodded. He looked at my face, closer than he would have normally. My guess is that he was looking at the bruise Vincent left behind. I dug around my purse for my phone. Once I found it, I hit 3 as I had my mom on speed dial. The phone rang twice before she picked up.
"Mom?" I asked.
"G-Gabriella?" My mom asked in disbelief, her voice shaky.
"Mom its me. I just called to tell you-" I was interrupted by Jeremy.
"Gabby, can you check on Mangle?" He asked. I put my hand over the receiver.
"In a minute! I'm calling mom jeez." I replied and put the phone back to my ear.
"Like I was saying I was trying to tell you that I-" This time I was interrupted by her.
"Gabriella come home. Now!" She said.
"Mom! Let me talk! I was asked to help Jeremy with the night shift!" I nearly shouted. Mom was crying on the other side so I hung up. I checked on Mangle. She was still there. I sighed.
I heard a familiar chuckled and froze. The thumping sound of metal was close. I heard a thump behind me and the sound of flesh being beaten. I quickly look behind me and see Mangle fighting Vincent. She retrained his arms behind his back and stepped onto his feet. I went around and kicked him in his groin.
"That's for earlier." I snapped and went to check on Jeremy. Out cold. I sighed and took over the tablet. Toy Freddy was in the party room, Toy Chica was still on stage, and Toy Bonnie was in the prize corner.
Another sound of clambering metal sounded from the hallway. I was confused. Mangle was still in here. I flicked on the flashlight and shone it in the hallway. It was Foxy. I noticed it was more broken down that I remembered.
"What the...?" I spoke to myself. I hear movement in the vents and check to see what it was on the tablet. Balloon Boy was in the vents. I saw that the music box was almost unwound so I rewound it. My flashlight was on Foxy and my eyes we're on BB.
"Miss Gabriella?" It was Mangle.
"Yes?" I don't take my eyes off of the humanoid animatronic.
"I could help you with Foxy of you want." She said. I thought about it for a minute.
"Could you? Seeing as Jeremy is knocked out and I have to watch these two and the monitor." I look sideways out of my eyes and see a smile curled on Mangle's lips.
"Sure thing." She let go of Vincent who then disappeared and ran out into the hallway to chase off Foxy. I kept watch on BB and stuck the flashlight in my purse for safekeeping, I wound the music box again and studied the party room. Toy Bonnie was in there with his guitar ready to climb into the vents.
I sighed. BB went away. I got up and made a coffee for myself. After I had just put creamer in my coffee, I heard someone in the vents. It hurry over to the vents and see it's Toy Chica. I stare at her until she leaves. I go back to my coffee and sip it before I return to my seat. The rest of the night was silent. Except for the part when Mangle came back and sat next to me. When the shift was over, I woke Jeremy and we left the restaurant. Jeremy yawned and walked over across the street and down the road. He lived a couple blocks away from the pizzeria.
I walked to my car and opened the door, smelling the scent of the forest near my house. I took a seat, put my seatbelt on, and drove home. This was gonna be a while to get used to.
