"WOW! Your house is stunning!" Chifuyu looked up at the beautiful chandelier. He saw the reflection of Baji in the glass.

"I'm surprised it's so clean!" He rubbed his finger along the railing of the long staircase leading to the upstairs bedrooms.

"Well, you have me too thank you for that." a gloomy, shorter-looking woman holding a broom grumbled.

"Ah yes, this is Youko, she's my familiar," Baji said gleefully

"You do an amazing job of cleaning, Youko, Im Mastuno Chifuyu" The blonde held out a hand for Youko to shake. She turned away from the couple and went to the kitchen.

Chifyu turned back to Baji, a bit embarrassed.

"It's fine she's always a bit... Deadpan" Baji chuckled "All of the items are in my study"

He walked over to a door near the Parlor and opened it with a rusted black key from his pocket.

Chifuyu watched his pale hand open the door to reveal a beautiful room. A large, rounded window stood in the middle with a piano in front of it and a desk and to the left, facing a wall of bookshelves.

"Damn, your house is really amazing."

"The stuff is over here" he gestured to the bottom drawer of his desk which was larger than the others.

"I haven't opened it in a while so it might be hard to open."

They both bent down in front of the drawer. Chifuyu attempted to pull it open but failed and pushed back a bit.

"Here let me try," The vampire put his hands on the drawer and tried to pull it open.

Chifuyu turned to him, his mouth slightly open. He studied his long black hair falling in front of his face. The glare in his amber eyes.

"There!" Baji got the drawer open and turned to Chifuyu.

"Um, Chifuyu... Are you okay?" he waved a hand in front of the blonde face.

"Huh, Oh yea thank you, this is actually really nice of you considering you're a stranger and all, and a vampire."

"Ah well.." Baji blushed turning his head away and scratching the back of it. "You're welcome?"

Chifuyu chuckled at Baji and began looking through the drawer. Baji sat on the chair at his desk and looked through some papers on his desk. Chifuyu quickly got three items that interested him the most and sat down on the bay window overlooking the edge of the cliff the house was on.

"Wow, it's uh, really high up," Chifuyu said

"You say 'wow' a lot," Baji said

"You noticed that?"

"Yes, and how you say damn a lot."

"Yea I guess I do" Chifuyu chuckled

30 Mins passed as Chifuyu took photos of the artefacts and notes on them.

"Oh it's like really late I should get going," Chifuyu said putting down the stuff on Baji's desk and running out of the house.

"Bye, and um Thanks so much!"

Just as Chifuyu was about to walk out the study door Baji grabbed his arm.

"You can come by anytime." He handed him two keys

"Oh, I thought you were gonna asked me for blood!"

"No, no, I have reserves of that," Baji said nonchalantly

"Ah ok." Chifuyu felt his face get hot as Baji's sweet smile stared into his soul

"Anyways, I have to go...."

"Oh Yes, bye!"

"Bye and again thank you so much!"

Chifuyu rushed back to his small apartment and called Takemichi

"Bro come one pick up!" Chifuyu whined into the phone

"Hello?"

"Takemitchy I went to Baji-sans house after you left, and oh my god it's so godamn beautiful! he said he's from like the 1800s to 1900s and that it was also passed down through his family, and he has so many good artefacts and stuff!"

"Woah-Woah Woah slow down, so he invited you in?"

"Yea! He said he has stuff that he thinks I would like to look at so he invited me in and like let me look at them!"

"Oh."

"What?"

"That seems, like super suspicious, like a random 'VAMPIRE' just invites you in? Has he even seen you before?"

"I mean I go to the graveyard outside his house every day"

"Yea I know but like what if he had his eye on you this whole time,"

"Yeah, I guess, but like I'm sure he of all people could easily get like women to his house, I mean his hair is beautiful and his pale skin, and dark red lips, He's quite handsome you know?"

"Listen I know you like the guy and all, I mean look at the way you're describing him. But Like I want YOU to be safe, you're very gullible Chifuyu, especially when you see someone you like."

Chifuyu heard a woman's voice from behind the phone saying "You are too Michi!" He chuckled to himself. He loved it when Hina made fun of Takemitchy.

"Yea, I guess... oh and tell Hina I say hi"

"Yea sure, I'm gonna go to bed now so good night,"

"Me too, uh good night and I might see you tomorrow or something."

Chifuyu hung up and sat on the edge of his bed, resting his chin on his hands.

"Takemichi could be right like he could be just using me," Chifuyu said to himself.

"But, why was he so chill with me then?" he asked

Attempting to get an unwanted topic off his mind Chifuyu walked to the kitchen to feed his cat Peke J. He got out the food from the cupboard and plopped it down on his bowl.

He went to the bathroom and brushed his teeth and then went back to his bedroom and got out some old pyjamas from his drawer. Blue and stripy. His least favourite combination. He gladly put them on though as they were quite comfy. He buttoned up the second to last button and then climbed into his bed and turned the light off as Peke J also entered his room and jumped onto the bed.

"Night Peke," he said before falling asleep.
