The 16th birthday party

"Come on! It's literally next door!" Kai shouted from beside me. Kai is a short-ish gremlin child that is more bite than bark. Their dirty blonde hair was tied up using a bobble, their green eyes gleaming with mischief. I sigh, turning my head to face them "Fine, but we've gotta be careful." My focus shifts to my other friends who each have a look of excitement on their faces. I swiftly move a stray strand of hair from my face, tucking it behind my ear. My dark brown hair was sitting just below my shoulders. "Come on then" I spoke, as we each began to stand up the front door burst open "IM HERE!" Kai's boyfriend Luke came running into the living room. Finally Grayson spoke "Finally, Jeez" he began to walk over to Luke whilst holding his favourite sketch pad. "Oh... um hi Gray" Luke spoke, slightly nervous. "Don't you 'hi' me! Your half an hour late!" Grayson raised his arm and whacked Luke on the head, a thump could be heard from the impact. "Ow! Wtf did I do?!" Grayson turned around and walked back over to the girls Rose and Jacklyn. Jacklyn had beautiful deep skin and dark long hair. She was currently wearing a Star Wars shirt and some dark blue boot cut jeans. Her hair parted perfectly down the centre. Rose had gorgeous deep skin, her hair reaching her lower back. Her hair was black and wavy, like a river slowly moving down her body. She had a red shirt, grey jacket and black leggings. Grayson on the other hand had curly hair tied back into a bun, his green eyes shining in the light. He was wearing camouflage clothing with trainers. Kai and myself looked out of place among the three. I was wearing a black hellfire club shirt with a black hooded jacket, I was wearing black ripped jeans with a belt. My belt contained long chains, on my left leg I had connected some chains to the rips, causing the chains to dangle below the rip. Kai was wearing a grey crop top with red snaking it's way around it. They were wearing some slightly ripped jeans which were held up by an all black belt with two silver chains on both sides. Both Kai and I were wearing cross necklaces mine being light green to represent Kai, and theirs being dark blue to represent me. The one difference was that Kai had another necklace of a heart for Luke. "So what are we doing then, other than celebrating Aces birthday." I look over to him, his brown hair was messy, slightly covering his blue eyes. He was wearing a hoodie and tracksuit bottoms. "We're going into Everwood forest mate." I said with a smirk on my face. His eyes immediately widened and looked at the others, to which each one nodded with enthusiasm. We all begin to walk over to the door "Mom, we're going out for a bit, love ya!" I shouted upstairs "Okay! Be careful and love you more!" She replied, each of my friends saying their goodbyes to my mom. The cake was left sitting on the oak table, the cake reads 'happy birthday Ace'.

It was slightly light outside, it's currently 15:11 in the afternoon. "Everwood forest is said to be the most haunted forest in England, and home to the creepypastas" Kai said, they looked so excited at the thought of seeing a creepypasta. "You do know they aren't real right" Rose said, she was slightly nervous but excited nonetheless. "What's your favourite creepypasta then?" I asked, I already knew the answer was Ben Drowned but still "It's got to be Ben!" Knew it I thought, I mentally rolled my eyes "what's yours?" They asked, Kai already knew this answer as well "Homicidal Liu" I answered. We continued walking down the road, passing people in cars were looking at us weirdly. People always look at us like we're weirdos due to liking weird things. "How long until we're at the forest?" Asked Luke. I stop walking and face him, is he really that blind. I extend my arm and point ahead of us. He follows the direction that I'm pointing and the realisation hits him like a tone of bricks. "Oh." The forest stood right in front of us, the trees were covered in moss, the leaves were dark green most of them slowly flowing in the cold breeze. The leaves were dancing in the wind, it looked magical. "Well, what are we waiting for?" Grayson said, he began to walk into the forest, sketch book in hand and a pencil behind his ear. Rose and Jacklyn looked at each other before nodding and slowly following behind Grayson. I began to also walk into the forest with Kai and Luke behind me holding hands. Kai was talking to Luke, trying to get him to calm his nerves. "You'll be fine" I said turning my head slightly to see them. Rose, Jacklyn and Grayson were all ahead of us waiting. "You walk to slow" Rise whispered. I smile slightly and stop once I'm beside them. From the corner of my eye I see something most in the bushes. I begin to walk towards the bush, I can feel a pair of eyes watching me. "Come on Ace!" Kai shouts. I shrug and slowly turn towards my friends, little did I know there was a pair of bright green eyes and a pair of blood red eyes watching us walk further into the darkness of the forest.
