Turn on the sound before reading →I grab my coffee from the shop and leave.
How late is it? I look at my watch, shocked by the time. It's 9 already, I should be at work in 15 minutes.
I make quicker steps, hoping to get there sooner.
Today already started bad. My cat is gone, and yes, I am lonely and decided to get a cat. The weather is absolutely horrible. The clouds are dark and continue to rumble. I am afraid there will be a storm coming soon. Lighting is one of my biggest fears, besides spiders, it doesn't have a specific reason but it just freaks me out.
I remain to walk fast, until another body stops me from doing it. I fall backwards and my coffee spills all over my new skirt. I curse under my breath.
"I am so sorry Miss. Can I -" the green eyed man stops talking, and then I know he recognizes me too.
Instead of talking he just wraps his strong arms around me and holds me against him. I have my arms around his waist and lay my head on his shoulder.
We stood there for quite some time until I feel raindrops hitting my face.
Fuck, work.
"Harry, I am so late for work I have to go" I say, not having any time to ask his number.
I grab my bag from the ground and walk as fast as I can, but soon to be turned back around by Harry. He got a smile on his face and keeps holding my arm.
"Let me drive you" He says, his dimple I always adored showing. I smile and gladly take the offer.
