Chanel, Ari and Jasper were sitting at the front desk talking, nothing has happened today in the hospital, hate to say it but they were bored.
"So, how'd it go with the hot firefighter?" Jasper asked as Chanel rolled her eyes
"Fine, he thought i was mad at him"
"I thought you were?" Ari said confused finishing her paperwork
"Oh, I was. I mean he brought me to his house, left me alone with his roommates, made out with one of them" She said grabbing more paper
"You what?!" Jasper yelled as people looked at him
"Shut up!" Ari laughed
"Yeah, he was super hot, but he called the other day, went back to Australia" she sighed
"I thought you and Buck were gonna make out" Jasper admitted as Chanel looked at him
"no, it was his hot Australian roommate" she sing sang smiling
"But, i thought you like wanted to date him" Ari said as Chanel looked at her confused
"Literally what sign have i given that screams "I wanna date Evan Buckely"? She asked confused
"Well, seeing as i was recording that" Jasper smirked, replaying it
"i wanna date Evan Buckely" Chanel said over the recording
She looked at him wide eyed "Delete that!" she whispered yelled looking at him
Jasper went to say something when the alarms went off "Code Pink" it began to say
"Oh shit" Jasper yelled as they all got up running to the infants room
"What happened" Chanel asked looking into the room
"Harper Willow, shes gone" Jessica said looking around
"What do you mean shes gone?" Chanel asked
"I-i went to call my boyfriend, and i left the door unlocked, i came back and shes gone" She admitted as Ari walked around making sure the other babies were there
"For fucks sake, how many times a day are you told to keep the fucking door locked!"
"Uh-"
"Like 40" Jasper said rolling his eyes
"I-im really sorry"
"I cant believe this" Chanel said going over and pushing the button to alert the police
"You should know, Mr. James is going to hear about this, and this time you arent getting away" Chanel said looking at her, before leaving to go look for the baby
Chanel had now wondered up on the roof following the crys from a baby
"If you can hear my right now, i know nothing ever good comes from a baby crying on the roof, but come on, this one time let it be good" Chanel whispered using her key card and opening the door
She looked around not seeing anything, but the crys got louder.
She turned around, going over to the other side seeing some lady holding the baby
The lady turned around hearing Chanel "Stay-stay back!" the lady yelled tears streaming down her face
"Okay, ill stay back, but i need you to step away from the edge"
"I-i cant" she said crying more
"why cant you" Chanel asked slowly moving closer when she looked away
"I cant! you dont understand!" she yelled
"Then tell me, so i can understand"
"My husband cheated on me! Got that whore pregnant! This is the baby, if i cant be happy neither can they" she said now standing at the edge
"I know how it feels to get cheated on, but that's an innocent baby"
"No i-it knew!" she called as Chanel really wanted to roll her eyes, its a baby they dont even know how to do anything
"Why dont we sit and talk for a second" Chanel asked as the lady turned to her
"I dont want to talk" she called walking backwards, as Chanel yelled grabbing the baby and her hand
"No!"
"Let me go!" The lady yelled as Chanel shook her head
"I cant, I really cant" Chanel said as the baby began to cry louder, making the lady more annoyed
"Shut it up! Shut it up!" She yelled, Chanel was half over the edge, the baby lying on the floor next to them and the lady dangling over the edge, no matter what she choses to do, someone's going to die.
Chanel grabbing her wakil taki "I have a 151, on the roof i need this baby taken back and the fire department called, now!" she yelled feeling her hand get sweaty and herself being pulled more and more off the edge
"I was jealous, she was my best friend" the lady called as Chanel looked at her now using both hands to hold her up
"I dont wanna die" she cried as the doors opened
"Over here!" she yelled before hearing people run over
"Someone grab the baby" Ari called as Jason grabbed the baby, he couldn't look at Chanel, even imaging it make him want to throw up, one wrong more and she's over the edge
"Nel!" Jasper yelled as she was now more than half over the edge, and the lady screaming and crying
"Nel, baby, have to get her go" Ari said grabbing her other leg
"I cant!" Chanel said shaking her head
"You have to"
"I cant let go!" she yelled hearing the fire department pull into the parking lot and over to the edge
"Oh fuck" Hen said getting out of the truck only to see Chanel half off the edge holding onto some lady all the way over the edge
"Is that" Buck asked looking up as Hen nodded
"Oh fuck" he said
"Okay come on, get the jump pad ready, Hen get on the lift see if you can get high enough" Bobby said, he was shitting himself, but he had to be professional, after this he was locking Chanel in a bubble
Not even half way the lift had stopped "It wont go any higher" Hen called as Bobby sighed
"Chanel, i need you to let go of her or you're both going to die!" Jasper yelled
"I cant, they need 5 more minutes for the jump pad" she said, she could feel herself losing grip, as well as Ari and Jasper
"Chanel, please, you have to let go of her" Ari pleaded
"I dont wanna die! Im sorry" the lady cried
"You aren't" Chanel said as the lady looked up at her
"im sorry" The lady said pulling Chanel more off the edge.
"Chanel!" Ari said losing grip on her leg
"im sorry, im sorry" the lady yelled again pulling her more, she was now practically hanging off the egde
"Let go of her now!"
"Chanel!"
"Let go"
And she did.
"Chanel!" Ari and Jasper yelled
