Chapter 1- moving day

I am so nervous I hate to say bye to my friends,but my dad really needs this job to get the money for my college. Oh sorry for not introducing myself... Hello I'm am the Ella bask ( photographer) well not a photographer yet I have to go to this very expensive college that is all the way across the country in Florida. My dad is trying the best he can to get all of the money for it so far we have made and saved 40,000 dollars out of 70,000 dollars and we have two more years to raise that. I am a junior in high school and I am ready to take on the real world. "Honey come on we need to get everything in to the moving truck stop playing with your camera". "
I will think about it dad first we have to get to the new house, but you still haven't told me what house we are moving to not even a picture". " you will see it yourself just wait". " fine" I said storming off. I don't get why he never tells me anything. But usually when he never tells me anything there is a surprise. " yay" I said out loud not knowing my dad was standing right outside the door. " Well bye dad I have to get to school, it's my last day here in LA and I have to say bye to all my friends and make it the best last day in the history of last days, bye"... I said slamming the door behind me cutting off my words. I am half way down the street btw I walk to school. A huge truck pulls up to our house I turn around to walk back when my dad runs out the door so fast he almost fell. " no, no, no she hasn't made it to school yet she is going to see it". I don't think he knows I see him so I run down the street to where he can't see me or I cant see him. The huge truck leaves to come back in a few minutes and I finally decide to just walk to school.
