Stiles found out after he got home from his and Tillys date that Garrison Myers had died. He told Scott which made Scott go after Derek only to find out that it wasn't Derek that bit him, but it was an alpha.
Stiles had also got very confident since Tilly had pretty much asked him on a second date.
Scott Tilly and Stiles are in class, Scott was seated in front of Stiles and to the right of Tilly. The teacher was giving them their test back.
"If Derek isn't the Alpha, if he's not the one who bit you, then who did?" Stiles asked Scott bit his lip, "I don't know." Scott said
"Did the Alpha kill the bus driver?" Stiles asked, "I don't know." Scott answered
"Does Allison's dad know about the Alpha?" Stiles asked "I don't know." Scott said stressed out The other students turn around to look at Scott, and Scott tries to play it off by looking out the window as Stiles sits back in his seat.
Stiles is handed back his test and got an "A" The same with Tilly. Scott sighs loudly when he's handed his, which has a D- written on it, along with a note that says "Not like you! See me after class."
"Dude, you need to study more." Stiles joked scott glared at him "That was a joke. Scott, it's one test! You're gonna make it up. Do you want help studying?" Stiles asked
"No, I'm studying with Allison after school today." Scott said "That's my boy!" Stiles said making Tilly roll her eyes at his suggestion
"We're just studying." Scott said "Uh, no, you're not." Stiles said "No, I'm not?" Scott asked confused "Not if I'm forced to live vicariously through you. If you go to her house today and squander that colossal opportunity, I swear to God, I'll have you de-balled." Stiles said
"Okay. Just... stop with the questions, man." Scott said "Done. No more questions. No more talk about the Alpha, or Derek..." Stiles trails off, "Especially Derek... who still scares me." Stiles said making Tilly look at him confused

Tilly and Stiles walked out to his car after school. She was going to his house to just hang out. Stiles obviously accepted.
"Hey can we get some food? I didn't eat lunch today." Tilly asked as they got in the car and drove off, "yeah what do you want." Stiles said
"I don't- stiles watch out!" Paisley said as someone walked out in front of the car. Stiles hit the breaks and they really looked at the person and recognizing him as Derek.
"Oh, my God!" Stiles said, Derek was pale and was swaying in his feet before he fell.
"What the hell?" Scott said running over and bent down next to Derek. Stiles and Tilly got out of the car
