y/n's point of view

i spent the whole weekend thinking about what happened at the grab n go, i was losing sleep thinking about it. i couldn't keep this bottled up inside me for any longer so i told one of my friends, gwen, about it on the way to school.

"he doesn't even like me, i bet he's just playing with my feelings!" she shrugged and said, "i don't know y/n..he isn't the type of guy that goes around kissing people just for fun. in fact, that was probably his first one!" i just jokingly roll my eyes at her and we continue walking.

( yes, another scene inspired by the movie)

i was just trying to do my homework in the school library when suddenly i was interrupted, "i'm telling you, that boy is lost in love land!" i look up in confusion, "gwen what the hell are you talking about?"

"my brother told me that he caught arellano staring at you in science class, he tried to cover it up by saying there was just a bee in your hair! is that the lamest cover up or what!"

she grabs my hand and takes me over to the book shelves, "come on let's go, i saw him talking to my brother over here." we hide in front of the bookshelf that's behind them to listen in on what they're talking about.

i hear finney's voice, "are you freaking mental? y/n y/l/n, you hate her." robin replied, "that's what's so weird, i don't think i do..i can't stop thinking about her." gwen smirked at me.

"you got it bad man..you gotta nip this in the bud, i mean think about it, these aren't real emotions." "they're not?"

"nah, you just feel guilty for the whole bracelet thing" i hear robin scoff, "yeah and i kissed her."

"exactly. she's weird and annoying anyways.." he mumbled the last part but i still heard him. i couldn't believe it, i wanted to yell at him! tell him he didn't know y/n like i did! but all that came out was, "oh..right," along with a fake laugh.

gwen's smirk quickly dropped and she looked at me with sorry eyes, mouthing, 'im sorry'. i just pressed my lips into a line and looked down at my feet.
