Idea #73: Skylanders Academy x Male!Reader

Title: The Skylander from Another Universe

Type of Story: Action/Adventure/Comedy

Based on: The Skylanders Academy|Netflix Animated Series

Info About the Reader: Y/n L/n was just a normal human being but with some special powers when he was sent into the World of Skylanders as a baby and was saved by a baby dragon named Spyro from a couple of goblins before they were both founded by the great and powerful wizard named Master Eon that took the two under his wings and trained them at the Skylanders Academy to protect the world from the evil Strykore and his son, Kaos.

By the time when Y/n and Spyro became mature adults, the two of them became the most well-known Skylanders in the Academy as they both share a brotherly bond together and worked together with their friends to take down whatever Kaos and his minions, and the other evil vile villains and monsters in the Skylands.

They even get to meet new faces in the Academy like the Shadow Dragon, Cynder and the wacky, crazy marsupial, Crash Bandicoot and face off against Kaos' father and Master Eon's Arch-enemy, Strykore along with their evil versions of themselves, Dark Y/n and Dark Spyro that threated to take over the Skylands and possibly the entire universe along with the world that Y/n was once in before he arrived at the Skylanders Universe.

Will Y/n, Spyro and the Skylanders protect the Skylands from Strykore, Kaos and the forces of evil?

Spyro the Dragon

Relationship: Brotherly Figure

After Spyro saved Y/n from some Goblins back when they were babies, they both share a brotherly bond together, even after they later became full-grown adults in the future as they both worked together in the Skylanders Academy with their friends to protect the Skylands from Kaos and his evil minions.

They sometimes had to face some problems on their own, but they eventually fix the problem and move on like it never even happened.

When they both finally broke free of their dark forms after they separate them from their bodies and worked together as brothers to defeat their evil, shadowy counterparts once and for all.

Stealth Elf

Relationship: Love Interest

She is one the best elves in the Academy and has a crush on Y/n ever since he became a well-known member of the Academy along with his brother, Spyro as she tried her best to hide her feelings for Y/n until they later became a couple after dealing with some sort of Dream Monster that is messing up her dreamscape.

She will do everything in her power to protect Y/n and her team, even after finding out that Y/n and Spyro was secretly working for Strykore, which she soon realized that both Y/n and Spyro are both under the control of their own Dark forms as she and the rest of the Skylanders try to find a way to separate them from the real Y/n and Spyro.

By the end of the day when the bad guy is defeated, and classes are over at the Academy, Y/n and Stealth Elf will have all of the time in the world to go on a date as a lovely couple.

Dark Y/n and Dark Spyro

Relationship: Evil Doppelgangers

As the two dark equals to the real Y/n and Spyro, these two shadowy doppelgangers are the evil versions of the duo created by Strykore to aid him in his mission to defeat Master Eon and take over the Skylands and possibly the entire universe and the real world. They are loyal to their creator and master and will do anything to make sure that Strykore's evil plans works out without the Skylanders or Y/n's girlfriend, Sleath Elf finds out what they're planning with Strykore.

Eventually after Strykore was defeated and both of them got separated from their original good counterparts, the two evil doppelgangers planned to get their revenge on Team Spyro and Master Eon and make them bow down to their master or suffer dire consequences.

Then one day when the two of them broke free of Strykore's control and have free-will with their own dark powers and decided to force Y/n and Spyro and their team into joining their ranks as shadow warriors known as Team Dark Zone. They even created their own world, free of Strykore and they both can rule their own land without anyone bothering their plans of forcing their good counterparts into the dark side.

When I first watched the Netflix animated series of Skylanders Academy, I enjoyed every episode I watched and what better way than to come up with a story idea like this, especially when they brought out Dark Spyro into the series as well.

Spyro the Dragon is one my favorite video game characters and I hope to come up with more Spyro games x Reader stories in the future.
