Duke and Cheyenne reached the AMP house but he was able to get everyone out of the house for the night. Once they got there she was about to open the door for herself but Duke opened it for her.
Cheyenne - oh thank you.
he held his hand out to help her out of the car
Cheyenne- thank you
Duke - no worries beautiful
He held her hand and guided her inside. He had decorated the front room into a homemade cinema. She was in shock.
Cheyenne- how did you know?
Duke- I asked Sha because I wanted you to feel comfortable
Cheyenne - Thank you
They started with Captain America and work their way through. Duke still admired her whiles she was watching the movie. She caught him staring
Cheyenne- you're staring again you need to stop
Duke- how can I when I have a beautiful lady like you sitting next to me
Cheyenne - I bet you say that to all the girls
Duke- no. I just came out of the army last year
Cheyenne - why did you go to the army
Duke- I experienced the same thing you did. I saw my cousin get shot in front of me. I wanted to get out of the hood so I joined the army. and you know the rest
Cheyenne- I'm sorry that happened to you
Duke - I've never told anyone that Kai doesn't even know that
Cheyenne- why
Duke - scared of getting judged
Cheyenne - there's nothing to be scared of you were able to tell me but then again it's personal. you might not want to go through that traumatic experience again
Duke- I know. something that doesn't need to be brought up
Cheyenne - okay
she gave a small smile and continued watching the movie. They both enjoyed the company of each other.
They were on their fifth movie by when Cheyenne fell asleep in Duke's arms. He texted Sha that he will bring her in the morning. He covers her with a blanket and he fell asleep as well.
8 AM
Cheyenne woke up and she was a bit confused.
Duke- Morning beautiful
Cheyenne- Morning. shit my brothers must be worried
Duke - Don't worry I let Sha know that I was bringing you in the morning. come and eat
Cheyenne - do you have a new toothbrush
he got her one. when she finished brushing her teeth she came down and she ate. once they were finished he took her home.
Cheyenne- Thank you I enjoyed myself. That's something I haven't done in a long time.
Duke- I'm glad that I did that for you
Sha and Rae opened the door
Rae- I hope you not kissing her Duke
She laughed
Duke- morning Rae how are you doing
Rae - good
Sha- thanks for bringing her home.
Rae- I hope you didn't try anything.
Duke got out of the car and opened the door for her
Cheyenne - he didn't. He was a gentleman the whole night. Nothing to worry about
Rae - just making. Just make sure. if not...
He looked at him up and down.
Rae- ... we are going to have problems. let's go sissy
Sha- let them say bye whiles we watch through the window
Rae- that's a good idea
Cheyenne laughed. The two went inside. Duke held her hand to get her attention she looked up at him whiles he looked down
Duke- I'm hoping that I can get a second date
Cheyenne- mhm you making me nervous
Duke - if you are nervous imagine how I feel
She looked down
Cheyenne - you can get a second date
Duke- I'm glad
She smiled. He pulled her in for a hug.
Duke - you are too cute and petite I love that. I'll text you for the next date okay
She laughed a little.
Cheyenne- okay
Duke - see ya later Lil Mama
Cheyenne- see ya later Duke.
She walked into the house and he waited until she got inside. He was grinning ear to ear
Sha- you smiling too hard
Duke looked back and laughed.
