Chapter four

Rex woke hoping what ever happen yesterday was a dream but when he woke up in a pile of leaves with to people standing above him he knew it wasn't.Vine and leaf stood above him while Deer was floating in a relaxed sitting position near them drinking...Coffee?Tea?From his position he couldn't exactly see.Vine knelt down right in his face."Up si daisy!"He said picking Rex right up and onto his shoulders."H-hey let me down!"He said lightly blushing."Vine only stuck his tongue out and continued."Vine I can take 'em!"

 Deer said doing something with hands."Yea yea!Anyway let's move!"He started running as Deer caught up instantly while leaf was a bit slower.They got to a huge group of elves all dressed in different shades of green.He looked at Deer and Leaf.Leaf had a light yellow bandanna and a light green robe.While Deer wore a sunset orange robe. 

Vine put Rex down and Rex asked what was happening."Oh the forager demons have gathered so much food that we can have a feast so the leader,Jade Pepper,is having a quick speech."He said with a small smile."Hello everyone!The forager demons served us well today is the day of promise.We must give them a chance to leave."There was a big flash colors of yellow,black,green,pink,orange,and blue started glowing everywhere.

The lights calmed down and there where many demons most in perfect condition.They all grew wings and most stood completely still in confusion tho some start to dash into the sky like a group of parrots.Tho lucky only hugged Vine,Deer,and leaf.He could even see tears.Lucky's wings were a teal and kind of cyan wings.He stayed with them.He wasn't gonna leave he didn'T to.So they went home tho most of the elves looked at Rex with interest while they walked.Rex stayed in the front.A blur quickly ran grabbing Deer pouch.He was right in front of the their.Rex's mind:The heck do I do?Like do I try and  block them? 

He holds his hands out hoping to block the thief who jump right of his hand.A couple second later Deer was laughing with a forager demon in her hand.He had grey horn and tail with spots of yellow and green.His silky black hair and light blue eyes were pretty much reflecting sunlight.Wait a forager demon?!He smiled and next thing Rex knew the thief had turned into scroll him disappearing in a cloud of smoke."Oh wow lord that's confusing?"Vine said suspiciously.

Deer look pissed as the thief got away.She dragged us home, defeated.When they got home she opened the scroll and and a smaller piece of paper and said the scroll out loud while vine picked up the littler piece."I heard that the human wants to see dragons they live in a cave three miles away with a drip stone entrance."She said squinted at the paper Vine show them what was out side the smaller piece of paper.There was a map and a name on the bottom.„Jewel Wu<is3"Deer groaned"Nooo stupid Jewel he might be evil giving me heart attacks  lord."Vine giggled.

And Deer frowned at him.They quickly started to argue and Rex tried to sneak out but Leaf caught him.But agreed to go without snitching.They walked for along time until they found the cave.They walked in and there was a dark blue dragon.It was scaly with blue and yellow stripes in the Blackish purple.It started moving God it's awake!The dragon moved and went up to the hole on top and Rex could see the dragon.It was huge with yellow and purple lights sparking off its tail."Oy star boy stop dreamy eying the dragon and remember it is probably gonna try to kill us!"Leaf said grabbing Rex out of the cave and into the bushes.

The dragon gracefully landed in the clear outside the cave close to the two of them.It started sniffing the air and growled at the bushes.Rex frantically not trying to make noise looked at the scroll and it said:Also ya get caught hiding walk out with your hands in the air.And hope for the rest see ya amica!So Rex did exactly that dragging Leaf with him."If this gets me killed I will kill you again in heaven!"

"Heh sure stub!"Rex said sticking his tongue out.The dragon softened and seemed less  stressed."Um hi?"Rex said his hands still in the air."The dragon put their head down and grabbed the pouch the scroll was in.Shots of yellow started streaming down the dragon.Was it happy did it know Jewel?He thought as the dragon dropped the scroll on Rex's head.Leaf giggled and Rex rubbed his head."Ain't that funny dude!"Rex said frowning."Yea sure star boy."Leaf said sticking his tongue out.

The dragon tilted their head.A gurgle sound came from it."So um hey dragon."Rex said nervously as leaf frowned."Lord great job the chances it understands you tho."Leaf said rolling his eyes."Hey I am at least trying!"Rex snapped."Then try harder stupid!"Leaf snapped back.The dragon pushed the two away from each other.The same forager demon jumped down from the trees laughing."Phhht star boy and Shrub,what nicknames!Anyway heeeey Storm Cloud miss me girl!?"He said with his hands spread out.The dragon ran up to him and licked him."Easy it's not been that long."He said wiping saliva from his face."Anyways human I need to test ya!"

"Wait what about tasks?"Rex said confused"TEST anyway continue Jewel."Leaf said."So I drop you of a mountain or cliff and if Storm of here likes you enough she'll caught you if not ya die pretty simple if you ask me."Jewel said shrugging."WAit WHAT!I think nooooo..."Jewel picked him up and start zipping threw the trees.His Cotten jacket nearly getting caught in the branches tho his movement was to quick.Lord if a dragon doesn't kill me motion sickness from get picked up so many times will!

Jewel seemed to move faster.Eventually he got to the top.He swiftly checked the area and got to a cliff."Sad I couldn't drop you off a mountain anyways,Yeet!"Jewel said throwing Rex right into the cliff."Jewel the fudge!"Leaf said."Why could I throw him!"Jewel started laughing.

Storm winged it.She started fly down towards Rex and caughing him before he could hit the bottom of the cliff.Rex open his eyes to notice he was going upwards and eventually got to a slightly unfocused Leaf and Jewel who was a smile."What a shame you're still alive to be honest why storm."Leaf said and if Rex was being honest he kind of sounded...relieved?"Yea yea shrub."Rex said while storm dropped him."Yea whatever you say star boy!"Leaf said back."Okay victos.Let's move!"Jewel said grabbing Leaf and Rex and dragging them back to town.He let Leaf guide them back to the house were he taunted Deer.

Another chapter peps sorry for the long wait.I busted my family for a couple days.
