Chapter 4 / micah

KILLUA POV:

I was walking up to the school gates, I saw Gon standing there, waiting for me, I smiled at him and decided to scare him.

I went around the other side of the building, he wasn't looking he was on his phone. Thanks to my assassin training i made sure I was quiet by making no sound with my feet. "Bah!!!" I yelled, "eeep!!!"  Gon yelled and almost dropped his phone in the process. I burst out laughing, "got ya!" I said "Killua that isn't funny, I could've broken my phone" he pouted "sorry not sorry" I poke my tongue out and he started chasing me into the building.

As we came in, Gon tagged me and put his arm around my neck "got ya!" He giggled, we realised it was too quiet and then we saw some people looking at us.

"You're very enthusiastic this morning" Kurapika came up to us "Pika!!" Gon shouted and hugged him, yes Kurapika is one of our childhood friends as well.
"Pika stop using fancy words" Leorio chimed in "hey old man" I teased "I'm not-gonna even bother arguing with you" he said and I laughed "shall we meet at lunch?" Kurapika suggested and we all nodded in agreement "yeah" Gon says "cool, have a nice day" Kurapika said and the two walked off. "Hey do you think they're dating?" Gon snickered at me "totally it's so obvious" I said.

Me and Gon were sitting outside for break, we were leaning against a tree.
"Gon I'm just going to get a drink from inside do you want one?" I asked him before I left "yes please" he said and I walked back into the building.

I put two coins in the vending machine, I got me and Gon coke. "Well well well, where's your little angel now?" A familiar voice came up to me "Micah just leave me alone" I started walking but then he pulled me back by my sleeve "oh no I'm not finished" he said, "what do you want?" I snapped "you" he grinned, "me?" I questioned "Killua I want you back....do you know how much I've missed you?"
He said, I cannot believe this guy.

"Missed me? That's a joke" I scoffed "no I'm telling the truth, I miss my old boyfriend...." He said "we-we weren't like that" I mumbled "don't deny it Killua" he snarled "you may of had feelings for me but I never had feelings for you" I said "then how come when I asked you out you said yes?" He said "can we just drop it!" I yelled "I still have feelings for you" he said
"You what?" I said "if you don't get rid of that angel of yours soon then I will" he snarled and walked away. I chucked Gon's can on the floor in anger and the coke spilled everywhere "oh crud" I said under my breath. I put the broken can in the bin and got out another one.

I met Gon back outside, he rushed up to me and hugged me "what took you so long?" He pouted "I'm sorry the vending machine wasn't working properly but I managed to get them out" I said, giving his drink to him and patting his head. "Killua..." he said "I know you're lying" he said "what? Why would I be lying?" I said "because you don't look me in the eye when you do" Gon says, I sigh "I ran into Micah again ok...." I said "really! You didn't pick a fight with him did you?" Gon says "no no it was more like he was trying to get me back" I said "get you back how?" Gon says.

              ~flashback to middle school ~

"Hey have you heard?"

"No? What?"

"Killua Zoldyck says apparently he likes boys"

"Ah dude no way...I kinda saw that coming"

"I know right, what a laugh, I mean who would date a killer like him?"

"Ahem!"

"Ohh Kil we didn't see you there"

"Really? I've been standing here for the past 3 minutes, I heard you"

"Er well-"

"It's true I like boys, but it's not true that I kill people"

"That's disgusting"

"Yeah and don't lie to us we're your friends we all know that your family are a bunch of-"

*WHACK*

"Ahh dude what the hell!!! He broke my arm he broke my arm!!!"

"What's your problem?"

"Oh I'm sorry about my friend over here"

"Huh? Who the heck are you?"

"My name is Micah I'm a friend of Killua's"

"Killua? We're the only friends he has"

"Would a friend talk badly about them behind their back? Or even in front of them! Or would a friend except and support for who they are and what they accomplish?"

"I-I"

"You're not required"

(The group of boys walk away leaving Micah and Killua alone)

"T-thanks but I didn't need any help"

"Hmm well I'm just glad I could be of assistance for a cutie like you"

Micah winked and Killua blushes

"Stop teasing me!"

"Yeah yeah whatever you say".

{at the end of the semester}

"YOU LIAR!!"

"Kil please it's not what you think-"

"I don't wanna hear a word you say, you can't go bullying someone like that!"

"Like your any different"

"Yes yes I already know your family's deal, don't worry your secret safe with me"

"I don't care about that! You can't hurt him!"

"What's gotten into you? He's the one who hurt me! Don't tell me you're-"

"I think.... I think we should break up"

"So be it....but this won't be the end of us Killua"
