You probably think I'm in that world of reality, where everything is perfect.
The world people like you create.
You're wrong.
The world has been thrown in to post-apocolyptic chaos, where it's survival of the fittest. Sure, we aren't like those other stories, where the world is all trashed and destroyed, but supplies per each city are scarce.
The Black Market has thrived, and that's where I get most of my supplies.
Communicating with the paranormal was not cheap, and it required a lot of things that only they could supply.
Schools still run fine, but classes are huge, budgets were cut to the maximum, and the government was struggling on the brink of anarchy.
That's just what this world needs right now.
Anarchy.
It would cause more problems than we already have.
People would be slaughtered in the streets, buildings would fall, government officials would pray for their lives to be spared against the rebels. Countries would wage war once more.
But with what?
Very few weapons were left, but what were left would cause mass destruction.
It would wipe out the human population.
I guess that's why I don't talk to people very much.
Everyone tests you, to see what you think, what you believe, who you are.
The angels, the demons, the spirits, they don't question your morals. All they do is test your will. If your will isn't strong enough, you may as well kiss your life goodbye.
I was one of few left on this world who still had this ability, because so many people have dismissed the idea of their being a heaven, a hell, or a god.
The only thing we were missing were zombies. If the CDC fell though, we may as well prepare for that. Some people still do though, but weapons can't be stockpiled like they should.
Some days, I want them to take me to their world, get me away from this hell hole. But then again, I guess the one that I would be going to, wouldn't be much better.
That was, until I met, Pyry.
