"Sassy?" Cass heard Eric grumble from her resting position on his chest. Sassy was a nickname given to cassia by Eric because of her dramatic, extravagant personality. She would never show it at home or around many people in school (she normally was too busy studying at school to show any personality whatsoever) but around Eric and sometimes her other close friends she would let loose.Cassias pov-
"Yeah?" I replied.
"I can practically hear you thinking, what's on your mind?"
He can read me like a book. I have this guard I put up around everyone but he can see right through it, like it's glass.I took a moment to reply and he started stroking my hair. "Cass?" He spoke up again, concern lacing his voice.
"It's just school and my parents, the usual" I let out with a fake chuckle."Have you been talked to about school yet?"
"No, luckily, this year I got shipped off to camp instead." I chuckled, although not really finding the whole practically neglecting situation funny.
Eric looked at me with a sympathetic look plastered on his face, one I don't like because I don't like feeling vulnerable. "I wish your parents wouldn't just ship you off like that, I really missed you. And I'm sure you missed me" Eric said and playfully winked at me.
I giggled and lay my head on his chest and hugged him tight. "I did, I really really did Eric" I sighed out, not a word being false. Spending anytime away from Eric can be painful. My mood gets a bit down just thinking of it.
As I lay there, Eric strokes my hair to comfort me, as he's always trying to do. Eric acts as if his number one priority is to comfort me and keep me safe.
