Her groan came out haggard and high pitched as she kept experiencing a splitting and vigorous headache coursing through all part of her hemispheres. It's like throwing a baseball to all corners of her brain and the pain is bouncing back to her body.
The reason for the headache is because of the constant banging of her head on the side of the drum that she is currently in for the past four hours that they have been on the road. She had absolutely no idea of who or where she is being taken to and she had no idea where they are.
Everything is dark and fozzy through the tiny hole that is on the drum. She was able to peep faintly and yet she was able to make out the road speeding past her, the trees too speeding past her eyes and the loud roaring of engine as the truck increase acceleration and took off.
Her consciousness is slowly diminishing and she has lost too much blood already. She could feel it dripping down from the large deep hole drilled into her left lower abdomen by two gunshots and not to mention the three bullets stuck in her back. She has no idea how much longer she could last with the rate at which she's losing her blood but her mind is at peace knowing that they are now far away from the outskirt of the city into the middle of nowhere.
She could probably just find a place to hide after this truck come to a stop and she will then take time to go into hibernation and heal herself.
The jingling of the drums never stopped. There are so many drums apart from the one she's in. She tried to change position since her legs has gotten sore and her shoulder is hurting but a loud teeth grittening scream came from her mouth as she felt this flesh tearing pain across her stomach to her chest. Thankfully, the drum muffled her scream so whoever the driver is can't probably hear her scream.
She stood still changing her mind and she closed her eyes listening to the sound of the tires screeching the road and the sound of the engines. After some time that felt like twenty to thirty minutes, the sound of the truck soon hot mixed up with the sound of droplets of rain beating the roof of the drums.
Rain is falling.
Getting away would be pretty awful now. She thought. Soon water was slipping through the holes into her clothes and her hairs. The sound got louder and almost concealing everything she could hear. She listen carefully to see if the driver is gonna stop or not but whoever it is sped up upon the fact that the road might be slippery.
Her eyes was slowly closing and she fought to keep them open inorder to escape once she is down. The pain was not helping either nor is the sound of the rain getting intense.
After a while. The car came to a stop.Finally.
But her vision had deteriorated completely and only her hearing aid was keeping her alive. She listens to the sound the door opens and closes and then, footsteps walking Around the truck.
Where are they?
Where is she?
Then she suddenly heard scrapping of drums and loud banging on the floor. He's unloading the drums down. Now's my chance. She tried to move but to no avail. While she was busy struggling with raising her hand and knocking the lid of the drum off, she heard a noise that cause her movement to pause, and she doubt what she heard but she wanted to confirm. Her heart skipped a beat when she heard the sound again.
Splash!
Like the sound of something falling into water.
Realization hit her like a slap after figuring out that the driver is loading off the drums and tossing each one of them into the water. . . .and judging by the time it takes the drum to fall, they are probably on a cliff.
Her heart began beating fast with fear and agitation and she forgot about the terrifying pain that is coursing through her body. She began jacking her leg again the lid of the drum but it kept Slamming back unfortunately. Beads of sweat ran down her forehead and her vision was deteriorating fastly. Her hand dropped to her sides weakly, her breath coming out ragged and forced.
She felt helpless for the first time in her life and helplessness can hurt so badly especially when you always have control of thay type of situation. Her container was being dragged shortly after and dropped harshly on the floor considering the fact that it's heavy.
All her bones ache and her body was cold. She is slowly becoming jaundiced and she knew it. Her container was laid down sideway and rolled just like that till she felt a gravitational force and fast falling of her body into darkness.
The container dropped and the big spalsh of the container into the ocean. Her head hit the container and it was filled water in less than a minute..
Her eyes opened for one last time as the container hit the floor of the ocean and the lid came off, water rushing into her lungs and her eyes, her head becoming heavy and sinked.
Long gone and dead forever.
