I walked slowly into the venue greeting others as I walked by. Amory had invited me to her " wedding party " basically I don't know why she called it that when they aren't really married.
There wasn't many new faces other than people who went to the same gym as us and people we either worked with or went to college with. I walked around some more until I spotted Amory in her beautiful dress greeting and waving at people.
I made my way over and pulled her into a hug wishing her the best and told her she was killing it at this wedding arrangement thing. Out the corner of my eye I could see someone approaching slowly behind , I turned around but was brought into a tight hug from behind.
" that's not funny Lawson!" Amory shouted at her brother, he chuckled and released me pulling me face first into his chest . I inhale the smell of strong men's cologne and body wash before pulling away.
" your so grown now " he states asking me to do a 360 whispering " damn" when my back was facing his direction. I rolled my eyes at his sexual humor but didn't scold him for it , the kid is 19 and am not gonna act like I don't appreciate it tho even tho am very much grown.
" yes we get it Natalie got thick over the years " I couldn't miss the fact she rolled her eyes while saying that giving the fact her stick build ass wasn't happy for me . I wanted to escape this conversation and find some alone time " I'll be back " I walked in the opposite direction to the bathroom hoping to find one in this big venue.

Natalie made her way up the stairs searching for the bathroom but seems to be unsuccessful , this was why she didn't like big houses cause she always gets lost and there is no way out its like a maze but your the only person fighting a way out.
" I see once again to your rescue "
Natalie spins on her heels and land face first into a rock hard chest , immediately she recognized the scent and the accent of the person . She quickly pushes her self off him and stood straight about to walk away when his hand firmly grabs hers and pull her into his embrace.
" why do u keep running from me amor" she didn't know what to say or do , she wasn't use to this situation like Amory who knows everything. I mean she sat down for hours reading novels and books about heavy Romance when She can't even speak straight standing infront of next to a guy.
" look am not in-
" oh there u are !" Amory's annoying voice chirped in , Alex rolled his eyes clearly annoyed as much as Natalie was. Speaking of Natalie she was now standing beside Alex who had his arms stretched around her waist pulling her towards him.
" yes I was just escorting my client to the bathroom since she is not aware how to get there " he lied looking down into Natalie's eyes with a soft smile " well then hurry up cause we'll start shortly " he nods and waited til she walked away to remove his arm.
" sorry if u were uncomfortable, I didn't know what got over me " Natalie nodded and smiled walking away to the bathroom with Alex behind her .

" your alright now ?" I asked her seeing how she blushed every time I utter a word to her , I held my hand out for her to take which took some time until she finally wrapped her arm around mines . I walked back into the opening feeling her hand pull away from mines .
I frowned a little turning to face her then looked back at the large number of people sitting and dancing, I remembered she didn't like much people around and she had a phobia but wouldn't Amory know that. 0 " it's fine I'll get u outside and speak to Amory " she nods and waited for me to find her then speak with her , I brought her outside and gave her my jacket to over up while I went on the phone giving orders to my chauffeur to bring some wine outside and also anything else she wouldn't be able to come get herself.
-1/2 hours later
I glanced over at a sleeping Natalie in the front seat of my car , I didn't let my chauffeur drove her home since I wanted to see her house myself . I parked on the curve and woke her up letting her get out and watch her open the door and get inside , while she stood opening her front door I pulled out my gun from the glove department and place it on my lap.
I looked over the backseat at my phone ringing non stop, I sighed and took it up Amory🥴 . I answered the call and waited until she spoke " u dropped her off yet ? Can u come get me ?" I rolled my eyes and waved at Natalie pulling from the curve and down the road.
" what? Thought your husband was there with u " I smirked placing the phone on the holder so she could see my whole body while I was driving. She had on her slik red gown and her hair in a bun " nope" she says popping the p , I didn't want do have any sex right now since I was in a good mood and didn't need this on me.
" alright come outside, I'll be around front " I spoke hanging up and drove off once the light had turned to green.
Seems there is trouble in paradise???
Looks to us Natalie might not have Alex to herself???
