Milayana was occupying a chair in the doctor's office swaying her legs as she patiently awaited the physician's arrival into the room. Today marked the first official appointment for her to have a check up on the condition of her baby's well being.
Aside from everything that was going on at the moment she was truly excited. She just wish that Von could've been here. It was an extremely unfortunate situation as he was unable to attend due to the fact that he was being arraigned today.
Even though she desired to attend he was adamant about her keeping the appointment. She made sure to bring Sayori along with her so she could document everything on her Sony camera.
The sound of soft knocking could be heard on the door that was slightly open while Dr.Santiago cautiously peeked her head inside.
"Good morning, Ms.Smith how are you feeling today ?" Dr.Santiago questioned
"I'm doing fine, a little nauseous but I'm good" She replied
Ever since the day that Von was arrested she had been experiencing feelings of nausea.She pondered on whether this was just a normal pregnancy reaction or perhaps an indication that she was longing for her significant other.
"Oh that's so unfortunate to hear.Are you regularly consuming your prenatal vitamins? It is advisable to take them frequently as they could potentially aid in reducing any nausea that you may have"Dr.Santiago stated
"Yes I've been taking them at the recommended time..my boyfriend has been on me about taking them" she chuckled lightly
Dr.Santiago displayed a kind friendly smile towards her but the expression on her face quickly turned into a frown when she discovered that her significant other was not present in the vicinity.
"Umm I don't mean to pry" she trailed off
"So don't" Sayori spoke firmly
Milayana directed a brief stare in Sayori's direction prior to extending an apology.
"I'm sorry for her..did you have a question?" She spoke softly
"Yes Is the father of your child present in your life? This is the second occasion where you have come here without him being present" Dr.Santiago questioned
"Didn't you just hear her say her boyfriend is on her about taking her prenatal vitamins or are you hard of hearing?" Sayori frowned
Dr.Santiago unable to form any words and feeling unsure of what to say remained frozen in place while the tension in the room began to grow thick.
"Umm can we just move on with this appointment please" Milayana muttered
She didn't appreciate the fact that the Doctor made an assumption about her and thought she was a single mother.This is precisely why she needed Von to be present with her instead of being locked up in jail.
