The return of a disgraced knight

Chapter 9

Narrator's POV

It is early the next day and Koragg's wife the snow knight sneaks out of their cave home and into the Phoenix kingdom using magic to disguise herself as to not bring any attention to herself or raise suspicions

So she stealthily made her way into the castle and to Izuku and Stella's room and slipped a note for Izuku specifically under the door before leaving and rushing back to their cave home

Scene change

We see Izuku and Stella just waking up for the day still woven into each other's arms Izuku wakes up before Stella does and sees the note on the floor so he carefully picks it up opening it up and begins to read

THE NOTE

Dear Phoenix knight,

You may think my husband and I hate your kingdom for no reason but that isn't true at all we come to the kingdom to search for our lost child as my husband Koragg told you but everytime we try you or the royal guards get in our way and I understand from what Koragg has told me that you yourself are a parent too so please from one parent to another just let us find our son and I will help you with anything I can in return please I just want my baby back

END OF THE NOTE

As Izuku finished reading the note he felt a new sense of respect for Koragg for being totally dedicated to bringing his son home but that also made Izuku pity him for the fact that he had to search in the first place so then and there Izuku swore to himself he would do anything to find out what happened to Bowen while also trying to find out how he came to be in the Phoenix kingdom

Time skip

After about 45 minutes Stella woke up to see Izuku at his desk looking through more records "mmmmm you got an early start this morning Ikki" Stella said as she walked up behind him wrapping her arms around his neck and kissing the top of his head

"Sorry my queen did I wake you?" Izuku asked as he looked up at Stella who still had her arms around his neck "no Ikki you didn't but what made you start this early?" She asked curiously and that's when Izuku handed her the note from Udonna

Stella read the note carefully and thought to herself for a moment before speaking up "those poor people they just want their child back and we've been attcking them" Stella said before she remembered something "WAIT around the time you arrived here 16 years ago Ikki there was a war in the magical world where the forces of good magic battled to send a being of lure evil known simply as 'the master' back to the underworld maybe Bowen was taken by someone from the magical world and place d in our world for his own protection from the war" Stella explained to Izuku whose eyes went wide at her explanation of her idea

"Stella vermillion you are brilliant and I love you" Izuku told Stella as he kissed her passionately "why didn't I think of that I mean master Daggeron used to tell me stories of his time fighting in the mystic war against the master and how Koragg and the snow knight weren't always evil they actually used to be quite good friends with master Daggeron before Bowen disappeared" Izuku told Stella who then had another idea

"Why don't we go look at records from the time of the war to see if anyone weird looking or more accurately mystical looking was seen dropping a baby off somewhere in the kingdom so then at keast we will have a place to start" Stella explained as Izuku nodded before taking her hand and heading back down to the records room with her

Time skip

Stella and Izuku had been down in the records room for hours and the only thing they found was once again the story of Izuku's arrival which made him think of something that sounded absolutely ridiculous

"Hey Stella what if the reason we can only find my records and not Bowen's is because both sets of records are about me what if I am Bowen" Izuku told Stella who at first looked at him like he was crazy but then she started to think about it and the more she thought baout it the more she realised the pieces did line up the Izuku's appearance did line up with the end ofcthe war and Bowen's disappearance

"We need to get the snow knight here somehow" Stella told Izuku and now it was his turn to look at her like she was crazy "why would we do that Stella?" He asked her curiosly "because if you really are Bowen her child then she will know you Ikki" Stella explained which still keft Izuku confused

"Hold on just a minute how would she recognise me and I mean if I am this Bowen guy she hasn't seen me since I was a baby" Izuku told Stella who just smiled softly before speaking
"a mother never forgets her childs face no matter how much time passes a mother always knows her baby" Stella explained as Izuku smiled at her for being so philosophical and also for being a great mother to Eri even though she didn't have to

"Ok we will get the snow knight here and question her before I reveal my identity to her and if she doesn't recognise me as her son then I will use a spell to erase my identity from her mind that way she can't tell Koragg who I am which will keep everyone safe" Izuku told Stella who looked a bit confused

"Stella my love what's got your brain all twisted up hmm" Izuku asked her making her look at him "my only question for getting her here Ikki is how exactly do we find her?" Stella asked him making Izuku nod

"Hmm your right Stella but I don't know" Izuku told Stella as he began thinking of a way to find the snow knight so they could get her to gelp them determine if Izuku reallyvwas Bowen after all
