"Ah, my head hurts..." Mordred uttered.
Slowly opening her eyes, she was met with the sight of a traditional room.
"Where am I?" Mordred said.
"You are in the Kofuku Temple, child," a voice came beside Mordred.
Hearing the sudden voice, Mordred quickly jump out of bed, and took her battle stance. As she was met with the sight of a smiling monk, with a scar on his forehead, on his hand, he hold what seen to be someone's breakfast.
"Calm yourself, I'm just here to deliver your breakfast," said the monk.
"And you are?" Mordred asked.
"The name Inshun! Houzuin Inshun the name!" The monk name Inshun smiled.
"Inshun... Wait! Isn't that the name of the first Gym Leader?" Mordred asked.
"That's me!" Inshun laughed.
"Wait! Where's my sister!" Mordred suddenly realize the lost half sister.
"I'm here!" Baobhan Sith reply.
From the door behind Inshun, Baobhan Sith walk pass, with a worried face.
"Good, your safe," Mordred sighed in relief. "Dad would've kill me! If I lost you,"
"That's good to hear," Baobhan Sith said.
"You!" Mordred growled.
"That's enough for that girls!" Inshun said. "Mordred, you need to rest for now, and your sister got something to say to you,"
"Yeah, I get it," Mordred scratches the back of her head.
"Alright, then I'll be back," Inshun said.
He then left, and Sith get into the room, making sure that no one can hear them, Sith close the door.
"What is it, that you want to tell me?" Mordred asked.
"I'm gonna be frank with you," Baobhan Sith crouch down beside Mordred. "Let's split up on our journey,"
"What?" Mordred asked in shock.
"Look, I know, that we promise to go on a journey together. But, I have been having some second though on it, and I think, it's best for us to split on our own journey," Baobhan Sith said.
"Really? Dad would be worried, if you do that," Mordred said.
"I know, and I already told him that," Baobhan Sith said.
"And?" Mordred asked.
"He agreed, but under the condition, that I must give him a daily report on my activity," Baobhan Sith said.
"I see, then good luck," Morderd said.
"Thanks," Baobhan Sith smiled, before she get up, and open the door. "I'll be going on my own, after I finsihed the firsr gym, which I will challange now,"
"That fast?" Mordred said.
"Well, I still have dream you know? And defeating the first gym, will make my mother proud. That her daughter manage to beat the first gym, before her sister child," Baobhan Sith said with a prideful face, which annyoed Mordred.
"Just don't do anything stupid, while I'm not with you," Mordred said.
"Don't worry, that's your job," Baobhan Sith smiled. "Go and get some rest,"
She then left Mordred alone, as she was having some deep thought upon the realization that she will go on her own journey, without her half sister. That she usually guard, throughout her entire childhood.
