"Ah crap. Bad ending again.

This game is still so hard. It's already been years but I still haven't won even once."

*Beep*

"Why are you playing that in the first place anyways?" A male voice was heard.

*Beep*

"I tried playing Catherina Dwight's mode because it's the last thing my sister played before falling into a coma. And I gave this phone to her as a present." The woman replied.

"By the way, how is she now?"

*Beep*

"She's stable as always. It's a miracle that she lasted for ten years..."

"And you even became her doctor now. That's also a miracle, my dear sibling."

"Seeing her in a critical condition that day... It's still replaying in my mind."

"Allan, it's fine. What's important is that, Rina is safe now."

"That's right. Thanks, Thea. I'll be heading back now. I'll check Rina at 11 am- Thea?"

Thea suddenly froze. She looked shocked.. like she saw a ghost.

"A-Allan, look at Rina. Her eyes are open! My sister is awake!!"

Allan immediately checked on Rina's situation.

"Rina, can you hear me? Blink once if you do."

Rina's eyes blinked once. She did hear him.

Rina Desmond...

She was pronounced dead on November 13, XXXX at 6:50 pm.

But after the doctors left her room, Allan, her brother, and a few nurses heard something beeping.

*Beep*

"What?"

Suddenly, the monitor indicated that her heartbeat was still there.

"What's happening? Is my sister still alive?" He asked the nurses.

One nurse checked her pulse and after which, the heart rate monitor had continuous heartbeats.

*Beep* *Beep*

"Call the doctor!!"

And at that time, doctors who knew of this regarded Rina Desmond's state as a miracle. She was cured of leukemia.

But after that incident, she never woke up again.

Her hair even turned white a day later.

"Do you recognize me? It's me, Allan. If you do, please blink twice." Allan was nervous.

What if she lost her memories? What if she couldn't remember her family?

After hearing him, she blinked twice.

Allan shed tears of joy.

"Thank you, thank you for waking up. We missed you, Rina."

"I will." Allan answered.

"We'll be heading out first. Please check her from time to time."

Thea, Allan and Rina were the only ones left inside the hospital room.

"Wahhhh I'm so glad you woke up. We really missed you." Thea kept hugging Rina.

"Mhm." Rina can't talk for now so she just answered in hums.

Last time Rina fell into coma was when she was sixteen. Ten years have passed and she was already twenty-six now.

She was a beautifully-grown woman who had long white hair and black eyes. She originally had black hair back then but her hair turned to white after she fell into coma.

"Thea, let's leave Rina on her own for now. Let her rest. Also, I already told mom and dad about the news."

"Alright. Rina, we'll go ahead first. I'll buy you some food!"

Rina just nodded.

After that, they left her alone.

*Slam*

When Rina woke up, her body felt weird.

It was so tired and she wanted to keep sleeping.

She tried to speak but her voice was too hoarse for now.

She touched her long, white hair and fiddled with it.

'It turned white...'

The last memory she had before falling into coma was that, she was about to die.

She had leukemia and she vomitted blood after playing otome game for hours.

And now, she finally woke up.

She can't believe she was still alive. She thought that she really died. Did she really experience a miracle.

Suddenly, her heart felt like it was being grabbed.

*Drip* Tears even fell on her cheeks.

She felt unhappy and sad... And she has no idea why.

'Why am I crying?'

It felt like she was forgetting something important but she couldn't figure out what it is.

She just felt so miserable and sad right now....

Someone was calling her. Her phone vibrated and Rina picked it up.

"Hello? Is this Rina?!"

Rina couldn't figure out whom the jolly voice belonged to but it seemed like it was someone who knew her.

"Mhm." She answered.

"Omg Rina!! It's me, Jillian!! I'm so glad you're finally alright now!! I missed you!"

Rina couldn't respond with her words yet so she just texted Jillian a message.

[Rina: Hello, Jillian. I'm glad you called, it's been a few years, isn't it? I'm glad you haven't forgotten me yet haha. Actually, I can't talk since my voice is hoarse right now. So please do call me back some time later. Thank you so much! P.S. I missed you too.]

"Oh, oh my. I just received your message, Rina. How unthoughtful of me, sorry! I'll talk to you soon!"

Rina hung up.

She checked her phone. It was the same phone she received back then.

'My pictures must still be here then..'

She opened the photo app and saw her pictures back in the time when she was still sick.

And that game was still there too.

She clicked the app and saw various characters in it.

Emma, the heroine. Callahan, the male lead, there was a sub-male lead, and a villainess. Catherina Dwight, the male lead's sister, and the villain....

Owen Sylvester.

Just looking at his character made her feel sad even more.

Tears fell from her eyes once again.
